I've been working on and off on another significant update. Sifting through old patch notes and scouring even more vanilla files, I found things going back years and even more terms documented nowhere. I've also cleaned up the old keyword lists for outdated terms and added functional highlighting for title and event_target scopes, though these may interfere here and there. They can be easily disabled, as per updated instructions contained in the download archive.

In addition, I've added two new highlighting languages for Graphics (.gui and .gfx) and Localisation (.csv and .txt for customizable localisation). They work similarly to the old ones.

Finally, I've updated installation and update instructions, for use with current, and hopefully future, Notepad++ versions. Detailed instructions inside the archive.

Please let me know if I've missed anything, or if you have constructive feedback!

Great work, but you didn't write it in the README that CK2lang.xml, CK2gui.xml and CK2loc.xml should go into "AppData/Roaming/Notepad++/userDefineLangs", not into "ProgramFiles/Notepad++/userDefineLangs" (which does not exist, I tried to create it and place the stuff there). It took some time to figure out the problem.

I bet others were confused too, so please correct it in the next update.

But thanks for this anyway!

I tested in a fresh portable setup to make sure everything would work with the provided instructions. That explains that oversight on my part. I've clarified the instructions included in today's update. Thanks for letting me know!

The big change is Dark versions, which will hopefully work in most dark themes you'll find for Notepad++. As usual, I've also added some new terms I found along the way, and moved yet more terms between the various categories for consistency.

I can't get auto-completion to work since installing the latest version.

Edit: Ugh, nevermind. I figured out what I did wrong.

Here's another small update. I've also prepared some highlighting for savegames. Be sure to to replace all '=' with ' = ' to make proper use of it.

Hopefully this one works better with dark themes than the previous one.

Great work @Whizzer!

Though, I couldn't get the autocompletion function to work by following your instructions in the README. I had to move the autoCompletion folder into the Notepad++ installation folder, since having it in the AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ folder did seemingly nothing at least for me.

Glad you got it working. I don't quite know what's the deal with autocompletion not working at times.

I'll have another update soon, hopefully, with a few nice improvements in certain areas.

Two posts above yours.

If you mean the file you posted in 2020, then it's not working anymore - that's all I get when I open it:

Hope it explains why I posted for new one.
