Oh goody, that's very promising. The longer it takes the better in my mind. Let's never have another release like HOI3.

Couple questions:

Speaking of HOI3, will Doomdark still be contributing to that now that he's the project lead?

I'm unfamiliar with the coat of arms on the cover art. Is that byzantine?

Oh, I have nothing against most people from Wales. Only the ones that are schizophrenic, murderous, incestuous, and cruel cousins. :)

Not surprising in one sense (the last of the PI strategy games to go over onto the Clausewitz engine), but still very, very welcome.
2012 does seem a long way away though.

I strongly suggest availability of a pre-Christmas pre-order facility, so the impecunious among you can request it from Santa in 2011.

Finally! After waiting for aeons, CK2 will finally be released! Thank God!
 
While I haven't played the original, I will join the celebration. From what I've gathered CK was some kind of rpg-esque strategy with a focus on dynasties and characters and it is my humble conviction that any game that has leaders or generals that can gain traits as 'mad man' or 'lunatic', is a game worth celebrating.
 
Went out of town for three days and saw the announcement on my tiny iPhone screen. Now I'm finally home and can catch up without straining my eyes. WOOOO Crusader Kings II!!
