By the way, are this the full extent of the changes you intent to apply to GoE and the beta is to iron out possible bugs/issues or can we expect further content additions/changes to the DLC in a following patch to this one?
You are able to import any design that is available for the equipment designer you have open. This includes if you are missing modules, upgrade levels, it is made for different chassis that you have open or even if it contains things from mods. One question. What happens when you inport/load design that you have not done in the tech research/tech three?
That is situation that will happen often. You have design, but not all the techs for it.
Can you speak in my thread?I complaint abt missing cores for formebles in the survey and here we are, I'll pretend as if my comment made a difference lol
No Faqir of Ipi or Mazrak Zadran as generals for Amunallah Khan? Their portraits are already in the game files.Generals!
For the next several days you’ll be able to test some things and give us all your feedback.
Please report issues in Bug Reports!
You can play around, test and give feedback on anything you like, but our focus will be on these points:

- Equipment Designer - We’ve added functionality to save your designs across game sessions. Save a tank/ship/plane design in one playthrough, and load it up in another.
- Also added is the ability to share designs with friends using the import/export feature.

- Iran is getting some extra characters and focuses, including scientists and generals.

- Iraq’s Kurdistan branch is being expanded upon
We’re working hard on polishing Graveyard of Empires content on multiple fronts with the addition of new focuses, characters and events. We’ll continue to work on fixes, content and balancing as the beta progresses, and we may want to update the beta content during this time to make sure you have the opportunity to give us specific feedback relevant to the state of the game at that time.
The equipment designer persistence feature is something we might want to extend in the future towards other parts of the game as well, so please give us feedback on that! (The import/export feature is available in the equipment designer that comes with MTG, NSB or BBA)

They are, both become available for Amanullah now. Although the Faqir of Ipi is a FM which makes not much sense. If they want to give Amanullah a FM give Amanullah Amanullah as a FM. He is the king he is literally a FM, also probably an admiral of the fleet. No Faqir of Ipi or Mazrak Zadran as generals for Amunallah Khan? Their portraits are already in the game files.
Would love to read further on this. I'll support your suggestion since i also thought about that for a bit in 2020.My suggestion is inspired by a real project that Mustafa Kemal Ataturk had in the 1930s to create a Balkan Federation. This idea can be implemented similarly to the Baltic Entente path:
Could you please take a look at my detailed historical Turkey mod? It might be a bit complex, but it includes many historical decisions, characters, and even scientists that could be added. I believe it could really help with expanding Turkey-related content. I’ve also made some of the focuses shorter and more flexible.Maybe in a future war effort patch. Its easy to change them to 35 days, but we typically want to rebalance them as well which is a bit more effort.
You may add Turkish military mission of Afghanistan to shared sadaabad branch and some characters like commander Naci Eldeniz. They could have at least used Naci Eldeniz, who led Turkey’s military mission in Afghanistan and worked for the Afghan Ministry of War in the late 1920s.
By this time, he had retired from the Turkish army, but he was a Great War veteran and had studied at the German War College. He would have been a far better choice than using generic names.
Turkey’s Contributions to Afghanistan (1922-1953)
Military Cooperation
Atatürk first sent a group of Turkish officers and doctors to Afghanistan in the summer of 1922. Later, in 1926, the young Republic of Turkey sent five more officers to the İhtiyat Zabitan Mektebi (Reserve Officers School) in Kabul.
In 1927, Naci Eldeniz, then commander of the Fifth Corps, was appointed Undersecretary of the Afghan Ministry of War. Additionally, on October 21, 1928, a military delegation led by Kazım Orbay was dispatched to serve in the Afghan General Staff. This delegation included:
• Colonel Hidayet
• Colonel Nuri
• Colonel Reşit
• Colonel Cemil
• Colonel Muharrem
• Major İzzet
• Major Halim
• Captain Reşit
• Captain Kazım
Following Amanullah Khan’s visit to Turkey in 1928, a new Turkish-Afghan Agreement was signed, leading to the dispatch of another significant Turkish military mission that same year.
In 1937, Turkey sent 11 more officers to Afghanistan to teach at the Afghan Military Academy and train officers. In 1942, five additional officers were sent to teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and geography at the Kabul Military High School.
Education and Administrative Support
Afghanistan requested Turkish and psychology teachers from Turkey. In 1928, Turkey sent:
• A psychology teacher
• A telegraph operator
• A specialist
Thanks to efforts by Ambassador M. Şevket Esendal, the Kabul Faculty of Political Science was established on June 9, 1938. Around the same time, Prof. M. Ali Fuat Dağpınar founded the Kabul Faculty of Law, where he was joined by:
• Prof. Dr. Zühtü Berke
• Prof. Dr. Şakir Tural
• Col. H. Erbuğ
• Dr. Hans Türk, a Turkish-origin scholar
• Prof. Dr. Atıf Akgüç, who later served as a law professor from 1951-1955
In 1938, Turkey sent six teachers to teach various subjects at the Afghan Military Academy. Additionally, for the Kabul Teacher Training School, Turkey provided:
• One principal
• Two teachers
Furthermore, one advisor was sent to work at the Afghan Ministry of Education (Maarif Vekâleti).
In November 1939, Ordinary Professor İsmail Hikmet Ertaylan was appointed as an advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Education. He took the initiative to establish a night university in Kabul and developed curricula for educational institutions at all levels, from elementary schools to universities.
Between 1941 and 1943, Turkey sent:
• Fuat Arsan (mathematics teacher in 1941)
• Rıfat Bayer (physics teacher in 1943)
• Three additional teachers
• One medical school instructor
From 1945 to 1953, Turkey also dispatched teachers from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, Galatasaray Lisesi, and Gazi Education Institute to teach physics, history, geography, military science, and physical education in Kabul.
Medical Contributions
Since 1922, Turkey had been sending doctors to Afghanistan. By 1937, there were 38 Turkish professionals working in Afghanistan, including 12 military officers and 17 doctors.
In 1927, Turkey sent:
• Op. Dr. Rıfkı
• Bacteriologist Dr. Rebi Hikmet
• Ophthalmologist Dr. Fuat Bey
One of the most significant figures was Prof. Dr. Kamil Rıfkı Urga, who was sent to Afghanistan in 1927. In 1932, he founded the Kabul Medical Faculty and became its dean. He recruited:
• Prof. Dr. Hasan Reşat Sığındım, a dermatology specialist dismissed from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1933
• Prof. Dr. Ömer Şevket Öncel, a chemistry expert
• Several other Turkish professors who contributed to various medical fields
Turkish experts also established several medical institutions in Afghanistan, including:
• Pharmacy School
• Male Nursing School
• Midwifery School
Kamil Rıfkı Urga also oversaw the construction of all major buildings for these institutions, including student dormitories.
In 1932, Turkey sent:
• Dr. Celâl Faik Bey, who worked as a dentist at the Afghan Civil Hospital
• Fatma Besime Hanım, who served as a midwife at the Women’s Hospital
In 1935, Dr. Nevzat Eşref, a specialist in mental and neurological disorders, was sent to Afghanistan. A few more doctors followed in 1937.
Two Turkish medical professionals, Pharmacist Salahettin Tandal and Bacteriologist Akif Keçeli, played key roles in Afghanistan’s healthcare sector. Additionally, Turkish doctors Dr. Faruk İlhan and Dr. Adnan Atam from Ankara Numune Hospital were permitted to work under the Afghan government at Kabul University.
