Can we get some information on the Reichskommissariats problem? They cannot garrison their own territory and turn into uprising time bombs because all of their limited manpower goes into the training of divisions. Is it a known issue/being worked on?

They are a big part of historical Germany, so I was a bit surprised they weren't in the last war effort.

Just wanted to let you know that we've looked at your suggestions and have implemented the ones that we think fit well in the game. Again, thank you for all your suggestions!
The team has done great work to patch up the GOE nations and I really appreciate (what I'm sure have been) the long hours they've logged to get it where it is. But there's still a lot of historical inaccuracies and missing content. Historical figures are outright missing and we have fictitious persons in their stead. Iraq gets the wrong planes in its focus. These are to name just a few. I hope that these gaps continue to be filled and will be filled before HOI4 moves onto the next DLC.

Yes but people still have the wrong names, the wrong photos, we have generic fantasy ministers, staff officers and generals when real ones existed and I posted them in suggestions. Finland has 24 generals all historical people, Afghanistan has 6 and two generic ones, Iraq has 7, Iran 11. So these three countries together have as many generals as Finland, which admittedly played a bigger role but still. For the clergy minister of Iran we have a generic guy with a Zoroastrian name. Iraq can't give resource rights to Germany, as happened in 1941. The Fliegerführer Iraq still gives light planes, which it didn't Fliegerführer Iraq was 12 He-111 bombers and 12 ME-110 heavy fighters. Shias of Iraq and the Hazaras don't feature in game. The suppress Kurdish rebellions by pressing one button mechanic for Iraq is really lackluster. I love you guys and I love this game. But this DLC in this state is not good.
More people and portraits would be welcome.

Speaking of AI designer designs...the biggest issue is the navy here.

Most countries (to be precise: all expect the UK) lack naval presets, which does not only mean that their guiding function for the player is missing, but also leading to the AI building and fielding genericly named ships at least in the later game. I concede that this is hard to avoid for certain countries which never had a navy during that time (and you surely have more pressuring stuff to invent fantasy names for AI Tannu Tuva's potential armadas ;) ), but would it be at least possible to add the real designs for the nations with an existing WW2 navy? Fighting, Licensing or perspectively even purchasing e.g. "Cruiser Hull 1944 Mk2" isn't healthy both for immersion and keeping oversight in the game.
It's not that there are entire missing templates, they are just missing localisation, so they are given a generic name.

However, some nations do actually lack templates - example Japan, it doesn't have any 1940 destroyer.

That and imo they really need to expand the focus trees of Iraq and Afghanistan they feel lackluster.

May be it makes sense to list players' suggestions that went into the beta in a separate post / announcement? Sure, it may trigger "why mine is not implemented" moment but IMHO a bit of this kind of PR has more upside than downside at this very moment.

PS Open Beta is a great idea! Thanks!

It's not impossible, in fact to an extent that's already true.
Is it possible to make a separate archetype for mine-layers and/or mine-sweepers, make separate TF template for them and assign mine-related tasks only to these appropriate TFs? Right now AI may elect to produce mine-laying / mine-sweeping DDs but they get assigned to regular TFs -- 10 DD TFs that double as Convoy Escort and Patrol TFs or Strike Force screens. So when these 10 DD TFs really get assigned to say mine-laying task they normally have only one DD with mine-laying equipment out of ten whereas there're enough mine-layers chiiling out in ports on Strike Force TFs.

The things stricken though in my post, are things they implemented that I had suggested. But there is still so many issues.

My first impressions of the Saadabad pact is that its currently another limiting factor to the area.
It would be really cool, as a player. To be able to delay the pact from forming until you have some other members as puppets.
I absolutely love shared focuses. Puppet (Swarms)Armies are a fun concept.

I think it would be cool to be able to make more surrounding countries join the pact. Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Transjordan, etc.
Maybe if taken as puppets, a surrounding country could be forced to join.

The thing is that it feels extremely artificial, you sign the contract and then you get all those benefits and bonuses, there should be other focuses just as in Scandinavia that tie in with this shared focus tree.

Does anyone know how much Paradox is willing to change in this DLC like are they willing to do focus tree rework or would it be only the current plus some portraits?
According to DukeDave's list of suggestions and fixes, not too much changes has been brought for GoE.

There are people who are immensely happy with the shareable presets, but i'm qute neutral as i did not extensively tinker with the designers to be overburdened by the lack of shareable presets.

But for myself, i'm quite happy with retooled Arabia and Nusantara, and also addition of Mahgreb and Mesopotamia. Maybe by Operation Toe, all GoE bugs can be fixed, i'm willing to wait until then.

I see, idk man I feel like this DLC at worst deserves ToA level of focus trees specially for Iraq and Afghanistan.

Afg and Iraq got trees so lacking.
In ToA focus was on 3 nations and we got 2 bonus trees.
But here we got 4 nations still only 2 of them feel more or less complete the other 2 feel like they from the time we got trees for Canada and SAF.
