I'm updating it right now, so it does work!

Are you sure you don't have Windows Defender active? It's usually on when there is no other AV app present.

And you are logged into the launcher with your Paradox account, yes?

And running it as the Windows Admin user?

Yes, 100% sure, you can disable it manually using Group Policy - it's dead.

And you are logged into the launcher with your Paradox account, yes?
Okay, so that did the trick, kinda - I *was* logged in, but just to be sure I signed out, close & re-started the Launcher, and logged back in : the update is now downloading flawlessly. So maybe there's a glitch in the auth layer, or state management, something that does not refresh automatically? No idea, but it's working now. :)

Hello, I'm having a problem installing BATTLETECH through the paradox launcher. I'm using Linux Ubuntu 18.04.1 and whenever I click on the install button in the paradox launcher, it acts like it's installing, but then tells me the game could not be installed after about 15 minutes. My launcher is version 1.0-beta-33. I was sent here by AndrewT (in a support ticket) and was told to ping @Deuterium Oxide in my post.

Good find! There is clearly some issue with ownership caching and updating that we need to shake out - Looking into the issue now.

Hey guys, glad to see the progress here.

I quickly glanced through this topic and haven't found the answer I was seeking. The question I hoped to find answer for is "can the games be installed on different drive that of launcher's?" Looks like the answer is "nop" and I need to kill it and re-install on drive of my desire?

While it's true that you can't select game installation locations separately from the launcher location (it's on the big, big backlog of stuff we want to do) you should be able to simply install the launcher where you want the games to be and then move your already installed games to the new location - I've done this on occasion, and it seems to work just fine ;)

@Deuterium Oxide @ReverseVarangian Are the 1.3 BT patch and FlashPoint available to the launcher yet?

FlashPoint is available on through the launcher - We are currently on version 1.3.0-413R (Windows and Linux)
Specifically on the Linux launcher?

If so @SilverFox41 has some other problem. Can you remind me where the logs are for the Linux launcher?

I have tried to look at my logs but cannot really see anything, it does check the repos at every launch of the launcher:

Code:
2018-12-03 20:25:00 [daemon] [DEBUG] repo tree: {"name":"battletech-linux-64","versions":[{"name":"1.3.0-413R","subrepos":[{"name":"battletech_dde_wallpapers","relativePath":".","versions":[{"name":"1.0","subrepos":[]}]},{"name":"battletech_artbook","relativePath":".","versions":[{"name":"1.0","subrepos":[]}]},{"name":"battletech_ost","relativePath":".","versions":[{"name":"1.0","subrepos":[]}]},{"name":"battletech_preorder_wallpaper","relativePath":".","versions":[{"name":"1.0","subrepos":[]}]}]}]}

Ubuntu 18.10 64bit, Launcher 1.0-beta-33 Battletech 1.3.0-413R

Launcher upgraded to Battletech 1.3.1-417R but still no flashpoint - @AndrewT has confirmed he can see flashpoint in my account but unfortunately still not available in the paradox launcher on linux

Hmmm. Flashpoint is not in evidence outside of the game itself in the PDX version - Did you check if you can see the DLC mechs in your Mechbay in the Skirmish screen?

Launcher just updated to beta-34 and now advertises Flashpoint on front page. I used it to do a full reinstall of the game and I can now see the Hatchetman in the Mechbay of Skirmish. It also includes campaign mode.
I think Flashpoint might have arrived although it is still not list of Expansions.

Hi, all.

Im trying to install the launcher.

Ive had 2 issues.

The first. It hangs up on the cpatch.exe when the cmd prompt pops up during the initial install.

The second, somehow I got it to load but after executing the launcher it gets 80% of the white bar loaded and just hangs

I tried uninstalling, deleting all locations and temp folders, redownloading the install file.

I am now back to it hanging up at the cpatch part and cant progress further.

FYI I am trying to download Flashpoint and I cant use steam since I bought it on GOG.

Help appreciated.

The launcher do not detect my current games. I installed it and logged in, and says that im buy games and stuff like that.

Hey guys, it's me again.

Looks like launcher gives me a middle finger when I try to install it on SD card of my Surface - space is limited on SSD so I would really like to have it on a card.

Any particular reason for this limitation and if not, am I allowed to try moving it manually to the card?
