Are you kidding us?

Now we have to be grateful that finally some of the content advertised a year before will be slowly delivered?

I never said you or we have to be grateful. Those are your words not mine.

I'm saying that finding a work-around was an intentional choice on their part instead of letting us remain pissed with further delays.

We can remain pissed at the Asset Editor delays while we enjoy the France pack? That's what I'm saying.

That is what you said:
"CO/PDX didn't have to find a workaround; they intentionally chose to pursue one because of our feedback and frustrations. I hope people notice that as well."

First of all, it is kind of suspicious to me that suddenly there is a "workaround" but the intended functionality still is not available.

Secondly, under the assumption they actively looked for such a way, it was to have something to offer and advertise while no other content can be delivered.

They aren't doing that because of any kind of "friendly" feelings but because they are scared looking at the numbers.

Well, let's wait for the roadmap before rejoicing.

EDIT: it has been published, just not pinned to the front page as usual I suppose...

Thanks for the information. The paths it's working fine on my city, and after building a couple of monuments and building a commercial zone, hotels are appearing! Longing for the regional packs, which look great, and also for any other new update soon about Asset Editor.

“so please be patient with the modders”
Oh dear, believe me when I say that we probably have more patience for the modder then we have for CO at the moment.

I really do get it though, game developing is not easy and always has its challenges that comes with it. But the game is already a year old, like come on.

Stating that they did not have to do something and intentionally chose to do that thing does not imply that the community should be grateful. It's a statement of fact. How do I know? Because for the last 11 months, they did not find or attempt to find a workaround nor publish one.

We'll agree to disagree?

That being said - I don't know why they did it now and not before. If you want to make them out to be a bad actor, that's your choice. I simply don't care why it happened.

Thanks for the patch. CS2 is getting bigger and bigger but can you please solve the problem about land dirt after deleting industrial areas? Can we clean the land by trees? And the most important thing is to have active stadiums.. Thanks
I like that. It’s the same like in reality when you have heavy industries. It can contaminate the earth for hundreds of years. But I agree, more possibilities to tackle this would be nice. Like having more types of industries( storage , manufacturing, heavy…) or moving earth but that would only make sense when it costs much.

I bought the game around last patch which introduced the tourism bug(no hotel spawn). After today's patch which claimed to fix the tourism bug, my city's tourism is completely nuked. I am getting around 100 visitors per month which used to be around 8000 visitors before. Here are some screenshots, and I am not using any mod.
