Oh great now it leaves dotty trails of things I just deleted when the camera is static. I suppose that's dlss fault. Great technology:rolleyes:
Edit: oh and it just crashed without notice, with me afk.

The problem with DLSS / FSR is (except frame gen) that it barely does anything for larger cities as computers are then typically CPU / simulation bound, not GPU bound anymore.

Crashes are expected during a beta.

Step 1: Check each weak if there's a new patch
Step 2: Download the patch
Step 3: Load my city
Step 4: Realize that the simulation is still slow as ****
Step 5: Back to step 1

I cant help but think that some amount of motivation to integrate beach properties into the main game instead of making it worth purchasing is that magically all the negative reviews went poof. Pretty crafty if you ask me. But alas, maybe we are on the right path now. I hope we are past the gaslighting phase and on to actual game development. It sounds like all things are headed in a positive direction now.

  • Citizens are more likely to use taxis from outside connections when moving in the city

Can you elaborate on what you mean by this? Does this mean that my streets will now have EVEN MORE taxis? Or does it mean that if someone arrives to the city by train, by boat, or by air that they will take a taxi from that point of entry to their home?

I recognize the need for conciseness but the way this is worded is ambiguous.

When is the next patch due? The one to fix the tax bugs, the land value issues and the perfomance?
I appreciate that this patch has only just come out and on the surface looks fruitful, but its mostly tweaks again or third party implementations (dlss)
The core still has major issues.

After this statement, my thesis that I wrote in a previous topic could be even more supported...

Namely that the release of the MOD assets will take place during the period left blank in Q3, between July and September, so realistically it will be September...

Maybe, exactly after almost 1 year from the release of the game we could have the real CS2, maybe...
"Several more months" means "we have no idea how to solve this pipeline problem", nothing more. If they did, they wouldn't need several more months. So the asset editor may be released anytime between next month and next year. Don't hold your breath. ;)

Good update - a mix of smaller and bigger fixes, some additions to the game (like DLSS, yes!) and updates to the editor and mod platforms, that's nice. The communication is also really clear and to the point and you even gave a rough timeline for things, great! Plus we got Beach Properties for free :D , so nothing to complain about here, keep it up!
