We expect it to be ready in about a month, but we don't have a specific date yet as we need to finish testing first.

And just a reminder to everyone, if you're experiencing new (or old) bugs or issues, please make a report on the support forum. Reports in this thread are sadly gonna get lost, so the dedicated forum is the place to go. :)

Excellent, thank you very much for the reply ;)

It's on our radar but as a visual issue, I'm afraid it isn't our highest priority at the moment.
Hello co_avanya,

it's nice to see that you can give us a few breadcrumbs here and there now. This feels refreshing and assuring that actually something is in the making.

I like it. Please keep up the good work, small things like this had been direly missed in the months before.

Best regards,
sys

Nice that this forum is referred to, I have been updating controller control errors since last year, unfortunately I have not received any reaction since November...

Can you share your settings please?

Sure.

Either use this if you are an RTX owner and like DLSS:

OR just the TAA under advanced settings (which I currently prefer as AA is a bit better in that case):

Everything else on my end is pretty much set to high/enabled, dynamic resolution and depth of field are disabled. Also I do not use any specific hacks on NV control panel or profile inspector stuff, just the default NVIDIA profile ;)

Oh my post isn't optimistic. ;) They're obviously stuck so predicting it will be released in Q3 and specifically in september, that's optimistic. They have no idea how to fix this editor. They couldn't since last october so they can only hope someone will have a sudden eureka moment or one of the new senior developers they're hiring comes with a solution. Which, like I said could be at any moment, including next year (you replied to the "next month" part but ignored my very pessimistic view). They may even be unable to fix it ever, in which case CS II will be useless to me.

The only certain thing is that it is truly absurd to put a game on the market having a bug that does not allow you to introduce new assets into it which represent the most important thing for the survival, for the longevity, for the variability of the game...

I'm not interested about the platform, it could have been a steam workshop, PDX MOD, or even a carrier pigeon that gets them to your home, but DAMN you have to make it available immediately without any ifs or buts...

My airports, schools, police, fire, medical, and garbage buildings will not render now. Mods don’t load and the game crashes whenever I try to open them. You broke the game I think! Any help would be appreciated.

Nice cannot install mods in GFN because it needs to restart the game. However, if I restart the game, the session is terminated, and if I try to reopen the game, the mods are not installed. Why can't mods be managed by the Paradox Launcher? It doesn't make sense for this launcher to exist if you can't even manage mods through it and EVEN WITHOUT THE MODS INSTALLED THE GAME DISABLE ACHIEVEMENTS DUE 'MODS ENABLED' HOW? This is Ridiculous.
GFN does not currently support using mods.

That here is a classic example of entitlement!

Stop crying, game companies are under no obligation to provide modding support. Most games do not allow explicit modding support.
Most games are not CS II. Only CS II is CS II. When the modding support has been marketed in videos and announced as coming soon in official statements, the customer is entitled to get it. When I buy something with a 2 weeks delivery, I expect to receive it 2 weeks later. If it's 1 or 2 weeks late, it's annoying but not a huge deal. If it's 6 months late and the company tells me I'll have to wait 6 more months, then it's outrageous.

So in a way, you're right: it's a classic example of entitlement. Of justified entitlement.

Sorry for my late response. Thanks for your settings. If i use the same settings, doesn't matter if I use DLSS or TAA, I still have the rough edges. It must be something on my end I guess. I also do not have any specific NVIDIA settings

Huge patch, but after seven days I'm still trying to figure out what has been changed. I don't see a single difference.

What I still see are the same huge problems existing for about 7 months now.
- performance is not good. My 125k city is taking 8GB of memory and this in rapidly increasing with the city size
- a large part of the city is suffering from mail accumulation due to mail not picked up from cargo harbors/stations
- garbage is not being picked up at farms
- dogs everywhere (including schools, public transportation and parking garages)
- high density residential never going beyond level 2
- industrial buildings keep getting abandoned due to having all vehicles permanently in maintenance
- dairy house and oil refinery never getting a company inside

If everyone is seeing these issues, then why are the developers not? The only possible answer is that they do see the issues, but are not solving them. Big question is: why? It really starts to feel like they intend to keep the bugs for some mysterious reason.

They are probably overwhelmed by the number of bugs and starting to get burnt out, after slaving through endless nights right before release to get at least something out of the door. Then the crunch followed for last minute bug fixing and adding promised features. But a mind that isn't well rested will only create more bugs. I feel sorry for them.

That's what happens if you focus on solving minor issues like the ones in this patch.
In recent "the way forward" they were talking about an advisory team. Hopefully they will advise a smarter focus. Spoken about the Way Forward....when do we get our additional radio stations. I'm bored out by the current ones.

Release date was six months ago. Enough time for them to have slept, not to mention that I doubt there has been even a single night shift for them.

And no, I don't feel sorry for them in any way. With a broad grin they have cashed in 50 million euros/dollars. For that they have been awake enough, so it cannot have been that hard.

Are your traffic and Cims super slow?

I’d rather have them focus on game breaking stuff than something stupid like radiostations.

But i guess that’s different teams working on different things (or sourced Out completely)

Why did they break stuff that was working completely fine in the first place?
