Looks like whatever changes they made to trash killed Incinerators. I have 3 that were going full power prior to the patch and not there's no trash for them to process. They don't even send trucks now.

I had two incinerators that were not producing power. I added a few transformers and set one of my landfills to empty and that seems to have fixed the problem.

I see my trash reduction decreasing steadily over time. Although I've had my map on 3 speed for 20 minutes and my CIMs are still pissed about trash pickup. Hoping it improves over the next hour. My processing speed is in the green and my landfill capacity is now at 50%.

  • Fixed an issue with randomization of radio ads per brand influence in a city

The only two ads I've **ever** heard were the shoes ad, and the now-discontinued Spasm Electronics ad. And since the patch that removed the latter, I haven't heard any ads, despite having ads turned on and listening to the "ad-supported" stations.

Incinerator and recycling centers are doing good. But if I run Industrial Waste Processing Site only for the whole city, it does not cope properly with highrise buildings and landmarks still. Maybe, according to its name, it is more for industry.

Just uninstall AdBlock Plus or uBlock Origin.

Thank you for this!

Could you maybe publish a list which shows what bugs are acknowledged and which are being worked on?
That would be a great thing to keep up with the process and progress.

Have a great day!

Nice performance improvements - I'm now getting 30+fps even at bus stations with hundreds of cims.

Thanks a lot for the patch.

I am still getting a ton of High Rent and Not Enough Customers popups, even after 1.0.13

The cargo train issue will be fixed in the next patch?

See post of mshappe below.

Then you're probably doing something wrong...
"High rent" really means that either A] you simply don't have enough housing, period, anywhere or B] the land value in that neighborhood has gone up enough that single-family homes are not effective land uses. In both cases, the solutions are similar: of course, you can just zone more, and if you make sure you're zoning in relatively low land-value areas, some people will move to more affordable housing; or, you can start zoning for density, especially if there's actually demand for it (there probably is).

Basically...there may be some balance issues here, still, but overall, this is not a bug. This is a reflection of what actually happens in cities where there's not enough housing.

As far as I see while testing, having all types of waste processing, I cannot delete them. Seems like certain building was attached to some already dispatched trucks. And if I delete incinerator, no trucks go to that building. Until I build it back, that building posess the trash for long. So, I've kept each processing time for couple of ingame hours, Then deleted. And after that, I've cut all connections, things seems to be good.
But if discussion offer is available, I'd use it to discuss land value for industy and water/electricity fee influence. I've spent few days on tests and it looks very strage for me, that water fee has signigicantly more influence on industry than taxes. How can I PM you?
Just join the official CS for more help x) I'm on discord more than here

High rent is when 70% of the building renter can't* pay for rent.
You have to make sure your cims are educated. I seen it in lots of people complaining about high rent, their Eduaction isn't good.
Also another way is to manual zone , the bigger the lot the more expensive it is,even in Low density zone.
The not enough customers you just need to find better access to those places. If you don't know cims in CS2 don't like to travel too far.
Either zone more residential near those area or Add more transits

I will check it, thanks.

For me this game is still unplayable after this patch, I still have a grey screen bug, I can access the other features, but my city is replaced by that.
Wha spec you have?! Did you report it in the bug section?

Good fixes, I like seeing the constant updates, it gives hope. No more deleting landfills every few days!

That said, whatever traffic fix was implemented didn't do much that I can see. Honestly the late merging and timid drivers sitting at intersections are pretty bad, but the worst by far is the three-point-turn lane changers in the middle of the highway. Like what the actual heck? No one does that irl. Why is that even a thing?

How is it possible that you have not solved pedestrian LOD issues yet? It's unfathomable. Disable them at a certain distance- bam. Done. You did it. A good enough placeholder until they're replaced with less broken, terrifying, ugly models.

There's also basically no optimization fixes here. The game's performance is still crazy underwhelming even on great hardware and the best graphic options are still basically unusable. Vsync is still broken. The game still constantly loses track of detail level and pops things into blurry, poorly textured blobs and black voids.

These patches are way too few and far between to not be covering major performance concerns each and every time.

Some of these bugs are literally fixed typos- the garbage bug was * and / swapped out for each other in a single line of code. These patches should definitely be heftier than this with a week wait every time, especially when they're made up of solved *typos* in some cases.

I'm glad to see patches, obviously, but have we all forgotten this is a fully priced game that was released unfinished and with glaring performance issues? These patches aren't a fun bonus part of the day, they are the absolute bare minimum step towards completing a game we were sold incomplete and broken- they need to be better than this.
