Well yes, if they didn't then you'd still be playing with the old ones. But you ought to copy your working Rome installation to a new place, like c:\games\rome-beta\ , and only apply the patch over that. Then if anything goes wrong you won't have to reinstall the whole thing again.Okay, then I got the right thing. And replacing old files with new ones should patch the game?
Given that there is at least one CTD in this patch, it would be safe to assume there will be at least one more beta. Once there's a stable beta, there will almost inevitably be an official patch release of that beta. When that might be is completely unknown by anyone, including Paradox.Is this the last patch for Rome, or is there a final patch underway?
