Hmm.. I guess this forum is slow enough that we can reminisce about how we used to play, in a thread about whether we play or not.
I'm fine, I'd say. Getting more to do at work, but keeping up with a bit of moderation to fight spam in old forums, since it is a nice hobby

It's a great game. I still play it sometimes.
I have a little question. I know that the province file tells what tax level each province has (an excel document). I guess that this is the same for every game. But I played the Fantasia campaign recently and found a lot of very strange tax levels. Small and useless provinces had high tax levels, while historical and important ones had low levels. I guess that the Fantasia just remixes the tax level values... I can see no other explanation...

Yes, Fantasia randomizes the tax values. Also the native size and aggressiveness. (And - little plug here - in For the Glory, the goods are randomized also.)

The first one is a dummy default file used when a bmp file to be loaded is not available (this dummy file should never be used).

Lol... the funniest thing is that I came across my v1.0 of EU2 from 2001 and wondered if anyone still played it. I remember wast..uh.. enjoying this game for many hours. :rofl: I reinstalled it & loaded AGCEEP 157 and went to town. This truly is the best strategy game and, obviously, has endurance to last so long.

YES! Still love EU2,HOI2. Vicky and are still on my hard drive.Paradox turned to shit when they went 3d. except for Rome.
