What with White Walkers in the mod now. I was wondering if the designers are working on making them a playable race somehow? Perhaps an alternate history scenario where there is a playable White Walker with one province and event spawned armies or something can be added? Are there any plans to make them playable at all? I personally tried to play them immediately, and was saddened to find that landing one results in a game over.

Would anyone else like to see playable white walkers and/or wights as well? Am I perhaps alone in this desire to play as one of the Others?
 
Probably won't be any titled White Walkers, but if Cold Gods gets made a playable religion then RDing a White Walker will be very possible. It'd be without the 600k doomstack, but it'd still be possible to play as a White Walker.
 
We won't be making them playable as it would not be a particularly good experience, it is just you roflstomping the seven kingdoms. You can't select them in the starting screen but you can use the console to switch to them.

You can already be of the cold gods faith, Craster Worships it and wildlings/thenns can get an event to switch to it.
 
Yes but they are unplayable in that a white walker character becomes unlanded automatically, I just want to play as a White Walker without a gigantic undead horde. For reasons nobody would care about.

Could you just guide me to the event that unlands them automatically so I can delete it?
 
There is no event that unlands them, they just don't start with any land.
Also if you play as the white walkers even if they had land, you still couldn't do anything, you couldn't invade anyone as the global flag needs to be set as well as the harsh winters.
It is literally pointless.
