Double-deck tram concept
Futuristic-Modern-Feature-City-Tram.jpg

I LOVED the double-decker concept in the first CiM, especially the "hum" that it made as it progressed. THAT would be a great fit with the "ultramodern" style of the original maps...heck, even the European Cities DLC as well as a contrast.

Regarding the Leeds NGT, I'm surprised that it didn't show up on Designboom. It looks really sleek. Unfortunately, the options for trolleybuses are rather crowded, especially for two-section articulated vehicles (only two three-section trackless trolleys though, and both of them have service ratings below 70%).

You know what? I should take that comment back as many of the two-section articulated vehicles have low service ratings. Maybe the game needs this after all. It's sleek, it's futuristic, and it's guaranteed to have a near-excellent service rating.

I would like some more old style vehicles. Like Tatra trams.

DEFINITELY the Tatra trams, especially since they resemble the Kawasaki "K" cars that Philadelphia uses (see above). Both those and the SGP Type E1 (called the Espen I in the first CiM, which I liked using because the front section looks almost exactly like the PCC car [again, see above]) were my go-to vehicles in cities which allowed tram track placement. What upset me was that those models couldn't be saved and used in the modern years of the game - they would disappear after a certain point and the breakdowns wouldn't be worth keeping them. A heritage line would be out of the question due to the limited number of slots in the first game's "depot".
