Anyone know about how the Nvidia 630m will do? I have seen the 630 posted, but there are several versions of the card.

Specs:
Intel Core i7-3610QM @ 2.30GHZ
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630m
8 GB DDR3 RAM

When checking to see if CS can run on my computer with that earlier posted tool, it says my CPU is above minimum, and my GPU is slightly below. I can run Minecraft at about 70FPS on high, SimCity2013 at 30FPS on mid to low as long as I can keep the laptop cool. I hopefully can run CS as long as I set it on low and reduce the resolution a bit. I am hoping to build a desktop late summer-fall, so hopefully I can live with the lower frame-rate and reduced graphics until then.

i whoud rekomend you to get a better GPU the 570 is geting old but that about it. im uppgraded my 560ti to a 980 becase the 560ti was too old to handel the game games at the settings i like with a nice framerate. and the 57o is on the same fate soon as well but offcorse you dont have to go all the way to a 980 if you dont whant or have the cash to do it ;)
your 560ti was struggling with which games? what resolution?

1080P with max settings on games like farcry 4 and battlefield 3 and 4 the framerate was jumping up and down randomly (not that much but still enough to be noticed) shore i coud have keept it for a few more years but i thout that it was time to move on to a better card so did it

Yes your gpu is a bit lower than minimum. How well it will run nobody knows. Post back after you got the game and let us know if it playable.

If you really need to know just to post it here, do the following (win7, win8):

* Press Ctrl-alt-delete (no, seriously)
* click 'Start Task Manager'
* click 'file' (top left corner)
* click 'New Task (Run...)'
* type in dxdiag in dialog box 'Open:'
* click 'OK' or press Enter
* wait for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to run

Everything you need to know is right therer on the first page, except the graphics card. That should be on the 'Display' tab (or one of the tabs if you have multiple graphic cards.

Hope this helps. Cheers.
DxDiag is in most computers start menu. Just search for it.
