Decided to make a thread for posting and commenting on propaganda posters.

Are there any Japan ones for this time-period? I haven't been able to find any.

My favorites have a * in front of them.

A few of the following (except Australia) are a bit mocking but tend to hit where this country was durring the time period. For example the Norwegian one shows them floating around, the Greeks are balancing and whatnot. I'm not entirely sure they were done in their respective countries either:

Ignore these, they're French but left in so the comments in this thread make sense.

This is probably the most famous French WW1 poster (at least, it's the only one I remember ever seeing before):

You're right about the scarcity of Japanese posters, but I'm sure I've seen something before, maybe a little earlier (from the Russo-Japanese war). I'll have a look around.

Those postcards you linked to - from appearances they seem to be French satires on the different countries. The Greek one even has a French pun (Hellas - Hélas) in the text!

The guy with the big bushy beard doesn't look very Japanese, does he? But no, I think they are supposed to be Japanese - maybe even Admiral Togo and the crew of the Mikasa at Tsushima.

The Imperial Japanese Navy in this period was a virtual carbon copy of the Royal Navy (the ships were built in Britain, the officers trained in Britain, the English language used for technical expressions and phrases, etc) so presumably the uniforms looked the same too.

(Of course, somebody who reads Japanese will now prove me wrong by translating the characters at the bottom as "Our honourable British friends rejoice at our great victory" or some such  )

I can read Chinese characters so as those written on that Japanese "poster"
Actually thats a picture book about Russo-Japanese war, the four big words on the this cover was "Pictures of Conquering Russia", and those tiny words at the bottom said that it was an addition to a magazine which published by a company, which i dont know their english names, neither the magazine nor the publisher.
By the way, is there anything i can help for China's leaders in the mod?:D

If you have a list of Chinese leaders post them in the Leaders thread. Even if the efforts are duplicated, help is always appreciated, it serves to double check the stuff we got. However I do not recall there being any Chinese leaders given so far.
