Hey y'all cool guys. I've been googling and searching the forums for information on the 'Weak Boss' trait among the orcs. I can't find any information on what causes it to happen or how to get rid of it. It isn't just negative prestige as in this run I've never fallen into the negatives, and it isn't just not dueling, since my guys have been dueling almost non-stop either on the battlefield or against littler orcs wanting to steal my junk.

So how do I avoid it? How do I get rid of it? (and why can't I find any information about it through searching the forums or through google?)
From looking trough the events there are a few ways to get it.
If you have below 100 prestige
if you have less then 9 martial
if you have any of these traits:
trait = incapable
trait = infirm
trait = weak
trait = dwarf
trait = craven
trait = clubfooted
trait = blinded
trait = wounded
trait = in_hiding
If you are at peace for to long(MTTH is 10 years)
Edit: forgot about how to remove it. Only way I can see is from winning a duel when doing "bash heads"

Yep, @DarkReborn can explain better, but the only only way to show your greenskin subjects that you're not weak is bash one of 'em gits right good.

I have a question. I never played multiplayer before, and my fiance has only played vanilla CK2 on my PC. But I bought her CK2+a bunch of DLC for her laptop (she isn't home till later this month). And I want to play this mod with her. No idea what a good duo faction would be for both of us to play. She wants to be her own faction/race (not any of the humans, and different than what I'd pick as a race), but be allies with me and have marriages and what not between our "people". I know that is possible, because in singleplayer options come up to allow that. I assume multiplayer would be the same for that.

She really loves nature/forests/animals (which wood elves kinda fit that I guess). Likes characters that live a long time or immortal. Doesn't like war as much as espionage/diplomacy. Likes a challenge, and doesn't want to play an easy faction. Doesn't like any undead/vampire. But she rather kinda again fits wood elves the most (though they are kinda easy). Can't really think of what else would fit her. But I can't think of a good combination of who I can be that makes sense they'd be friends with wood elves. If she does indeed choose wood elves.

Is there any other good race combos if she doesn't choose wood elves, that we could both be and still be friends/allies? But not within the same faction, because she wants to be her own (again different than what I'd pick).

(edit: Though if she chose wood elves. Bretonnia would be cool, they are humans, but they are a lot of fun. If maybe a bit easy. I'd be right next to the wood elf place though, so it could work.

Definitely no empire, sylvania always owns in every game I've made since the patch lol. They conquer EVERY empire faction very early on. Dunno what changed, but every single game I've made they do godlike against the empire. Don't want to deal with them early on with any faction, and especially the empire ones :p

Well, as much as I hate saying so, but she could also do one of the nobles in Avelorn. They are the closest to Wood Elves the Highies got.
And you got plenty of diplomacy/intrigue, as well as many varieties of elf to play as yourself.

Thanks :) That is definitely a possibility if she doesn't go wood elves. Sounds like it could be fun too, for both of us.

How long do grail knights live for? My Bretonnian King is one, but is also maimed and incapable, so I cant do anything until he dies. Thing is the +15 health on Grail Knight means the injuries dont really affect him in terms of dying. How do I die is the question I guess

Cheers

You can try to hunt down some vampires/beasts (in case, this isn't disabled by incapability). Failing to hunt down a fiend will effect in instant death

The Red Duke died a while back after I conquered his holdings, and I cant see a hnt down diplomatic option with the von Carsteins or indeed any other vampires

See attached pic, I dont have that option, for any vampiric characters. Indeed, I cant do any plots, perhaps because Im incapable and have a regent?

I think that's it - I don't think characters in Regencies can do any plotting at all.

Just thought I'd post back the answer we chose. We are going to play in the same faction, and also not as a leader like planned. She wants to just be a count/vassal of some kind, and build up slowly. I think that will be a lot more fun, to build up instead of start out straight as a leader, and my fiance agreed too. Plus then we'll be in same faction and can help each other out.

Is there anything interesting mechanics-wise for Halflings? Do they still get the same opportunities as humans in the Empire if they come to power (like witch hunters, reuniting, etc)?

Making your spymaster mad at you is always a good way to cause accidents.

Is there anything a tzeentch nomad ruler with some nurglite courtiers and vassals should be doing to try to avoid mass outbreaks of leprosy in his court? Near all of my 40 some person court are lepers, I'm assuming its the nurglites fault, but I'm not sure how to deal with this other than admit defeat and look for a way to convert to Nurgle.

Most pious assassinations work.
It should be douable since they probably have a low opinion with the rest of your courtiers which will help in quickly creating plot power.

2 questions that possibly have been answered already. First of, can a human marry a elve? I did becuase elve cuties are in my court. Yet tehy continuesly divorce. So I guess cant marry and have elven-human hybdrids. 2nd, After years and years finally a bright wizard emerged from my Albion. Now how can I ask him to teach me magic? I still only get "Teach Yourself Magic" decision
