I changed some of the game options such as demense and vassel limit, and turned off regency etc. Now my game runs more slowly.

Is there any info on what is the optimal game setting choice for the fastest game?

Not yet. Feel free to do some Science!

Are the Bayaji Jungle Ambushers the only retinue available to Shadowrealm? If not then what are the requirements to unlock the others?

Far as I know, they have nothing that sets them apart from regular-ass Bayaji. If you get an Imperial Mahtmasi, that might be different. :p

How to learn magic ? Every time, no matter how much I invest, I never learn any magic. It always fails after some time or I die because of an experiment gone wrong.

You have to be ridiculously lucky or insanely smart to begin with (read: High learning stat , at least close to 20), as investing money gives you more negative traits like slothful, while experimenting tends to blow up in your face while offering advantageous traits.

When you begin a new game you can choice in option if it possible for members of two species to marry. But I don't think that they can have children, dev will maybe add a hybrids for people who want but I'm not sure (I believe that in the cannon human and elves can't have children). Normally it him who will porpose to take you like him disciple.
I didn't have the option enabled and one of my cousins was seduced by a dwarf merchant and, after 4 stillborn infants, finally had a child that had the Dwarf trait.

The cult of pleasure worship Atharti.
There has always been the stuff though about Slaanesh and Morathi which has littered the fluff forever...

Yep, and it was all retconned in 8e. :p
8e never happened... End Times never happened... 6e 4lyf :D In all seriousness, we have managed to curiously blend the lores as we go, largely due to necessities, I mean where are the Amazons in 8e, where are the pygmies? And where exactly are the Bretanians or the Chaos Stunties? I mean lets be fair, we all liked Morathi more when she was cuddled up lovingly with her son, to be the depraved and deplorable bitch she needed to be... The Donald Trump of the Warhammer world :D

Morathi's actions haven't changed, just the source of them. ;)

As for Amazons and Pygmies I believe they're mentioned on the 8e lizardman army book's map of lustria.

So, I just had my first playthrough and I noticed something that I'm not sure whether its a bug or a feature. I started as some random count in Imperial Middenland and quickly got married to some random hedonist countess. My game wasn't long, just a few years of game time before I grew a second head and got killed by Norscan raiders but here's the thing that bothered me - I wasn't getting any interactions with my wife. Was I just unlucky and just didn't get any events because of random chance, did I fuck something up during the installation or did I encounter a bug?

Quick question: How does the empire handle two elector count titles being merged then split again via gavelkind when dealing with state troops? Does one just keep all the state troops leaving the other elector state fairly doomed to be quickly crushed by the much larger forces?

By interactions do you mean events? Because yeah, it sounds like you just had some bad luck.

Another quick question: Are there any plans to allow cadet dynasties? Say if you give your bastard child land or during reunification wars a dynasty ends up splitting multiple elector counts between them they get ambitious and start their own dynastic legacy?

And since I've been asking too many questions already: If an amazon has average magic potential but no lore of beasts trait, they can be taught even at 6 learning through a targeted decision right? Or does it have to start as a child or other restrictions? Or a minimum skill?

A bunch of questions from a Warhammer mod newbie:
1) What is the chance of successfully teaching yourself magic, or leaning necromancy? And are they dependent on your personal Learning only, or also on Magic Potential traits or something else?
2) One of my rulers got Khorne Cult event when looting, and I obtained the decision "Serve Khorne" and became able to introduce other characters to cult through plot. What are the chances of getting that event, and what are requirements, only looting? What are consequences of using "Serve Khorne" decision, your religion just change to Khornate? If yes, what are advantages and disadvantages of that, especially for Merchant Republic rulers and mages? And what about introducing other characters to Khorne cult, does this plot ever succeed? I had multiple invite events, but no definite end.
3) What are best locations to plunder? Southern city-states?
4) What focuses are different from vanilla ones? Only changes I spotted are those with Scholarship focus.
5) How powerful is magic? Is it worth to try to learn it? I'm playing as Albion tribal, so paying 500 gold for learning magic by myself is really much for me.

1) Relatively low, if at all. You require some basic magic potential and at least 20 learning after your period of learning ends. I am not sure if the first counts for Necromancy too, but I'm gonna guess yeah.
2) That is a super-old part of our mod about secret cultists which we'll rework later. It will, once you serve Khorne sufficiently, enable you to declare open khornate worship, summon a couple thousand daemons and rampage around. It's super-buggy though, sadly.
3) I'd guess, considering that most Chaos worshippers have next to nothing BUT south. :D But yeah, Araby is pretty solid, as are Elven island parts.
4) No clue, sorry. Find out yourself!
5) Magic is STUPID powerful, but has a major chance of backfiring on you. There is a dev diary from Zara about what sort of stuff he does to magic, it's pretty arcane code to me (hah!).

What's the process for progressing beyond magic power 1? Do you just have to keep using spells until you level up?
