Ummm i always thouth that tyleans represents italians of renaissance, also the name of their cities and leaders are surely italian related, also tilea once had an empire that could be related to the roman empire. I remember the dogs of war miniatures of tileans and i am sure that lorenzo lupo of luccini was surely roman inspired ^^

However i tried luccini yesterday and they have a decision called "restore tylean empire" that ask you to conquer all tylea and estalia.

Edit:sry doublepost

They are definitely more Renaissance Italy than old Roman Empire Italy.

Do dwarfs have cannons? I saw that humans have them, and dwarfs? I saw only ironbeard and gunners, is a particular event for unlock cannons?

Stunties aren't done yet, but so far they don't have any IIRC. Chaos Stunties do though, and they are glorious.

The empire of Myrmidia you're talking about existed for one day.

And yes, Luccini has the twin founder thing going on like Rome, Remas has a lot of Rome flavor too. However, no one had the same global impact on the world excepting the High Elves.

Who do you think invented cannons and gave them to humans?

Tileans are Italians, but Myrmidens/the Myken are Greco-Roman for fun. Also, it's "restore Myrmidia's empire," which only requires you own a few key duchies/counties in Estalia and Tilea, and have an emperor title for one of the two.

Also another question this one is about the lore not the game though. So I know this is herasy to you sigmarites but why is sigmar considered a diety. I know he was like the first emperor or something like that but why does emperor = diety does he have magic powers or something that makes him so revered and does he despite being dead have any influence on the world besides his cult and the empire. P.s. I don't know much lore at all about the empire

According to the Sigmarite Faith Sigmar ascended to god-hood, being like the ultimate human hero in history.

Anyone telling you otherwise is quite possibly a heretic and why aren't you reporting them?

Basically he was a deified hero of the Empire, and the cult proclaimed him a god after he disappeared.

After ruling the empire for 50 years, Sigmar abdicated his crown to the heir chosen by the Elector Counts and set off into the wilderness to complete a task he could only do alone. Soon after, in Altdorf, and across the empire people received visions of Sigmar bodily ascending into the heavens. People began praying to Sigmar and those prayers were answered. Thus, Sigmar the deity was born.

Plus, it's just not unusual for the founders of countries to have some hero-worship going on. In the US, the founding fathers are basically revered as saints, it's honestly kind of amazing no one prays to them. Augustus Caesar was worshiped as a god too.

Yes yes i know (i have a 2000pt dwarf army ^^), i was asking if they were in the mod ;)
As was said an incredibly numerous amount of times by now, dwarfs are entirely placeholder right now and will be reworked once we can press-gang a scripter into it. It's a sad truth that only I really 'like' the stunties, and I can't code no nothing. I can merely pester those that 'can' into starting to rework them, which takes a while.

probably been asked before but are there any plans to update to 2.5.0 or whatever version it is with conclave

no, the mod will never update again development is obviously dead.

I can't speak for the dev team, but I imagine that like most mods they will update it once the core version of the game settles down. Pretty much every DLC PDS has released has been patched numerous times in the month following release.

I was dripping sarcasm, sorry. Yes, it's pretty obvious that the mod isn't dead and will update as soon as the devs figure out how moddable Conclave is and decide upon what parts they want to use/abuse.

There's apparently also some weird technical issue with having multiple types of special troops in the same holding that would complicate giving them cannons, though retinues work fine.

Damn, if I could script I would totally join in to fix up the little people.

What about making it an exclusive choice between artillery and handguns? Might be a little nonsensical lore/realism wise but it could work on a technical level.
