Hello, I know it is annoying question.
How long do you think will it take to make Warhammer mod compatabile with 2.5.1 Conclave? Week? Months? Years (Elder kings mod xD)?

I must say that I absolutely love your mod. It is so interesting and big. I just made mistake and played first game on ironman. Game became just way too slow later and contant random saves of Ironman saving system made game freeze non stop. So I d'like to play new game but at the same time Conclave was released and I was thinking if it is worth a waiting or I should just play vannila or 2.4.5 warhammer.

Good luck and thanks for this amazing mod ;)

No way to know how long at this point. It depends on how quick we can adapt (or disable) all the new features, and how soon our brand new content is ready. I'd say it'll be in weeks range, months at the most.

Is it possible to drive the Greenskin Population out of land you took from them, and if so how?

On an unrelated note, how do you go about stealing Vlad's ring? Is that even possible? I'm playing Nefereta and it sure would be nice to be unkillable.

1. Yes, you can do that by right-clicking on a holding in a greenskin province you own. It'll cost you some money, though.

2. You can do so through a plot, but ONLY after Vlad has died once (and therefore it becomes common knowledge what purpose the ring serves).

What is difference between bookmarks in mod? All of them start at the same time, so, is there something different in terms of events nations get at the beginning or are they there just for lulz?

They're just there to deliver some minor information and educated suggestions for good starts.

So,I heard that the DLC's that were recommended for this are Horse Lords and Legacy of Rome. What do they do and which parts of the mod do they effect? Do you think it's worth getting both?

As an aside, should I get Way of Life as well?

LoR: Retinues, which are pretty important for most everyone.
HL: Dynamic Mercs, which are extremely important for the Empire cultures, Witch Hunters, and Blood Dragons. Also Nomads, which is basically all of the Chaos Wastes.

Out of curiosity, is Genvive an exception to the whole vampires can't worship Gods thing considering how in canon she received the blessing of Sigmar and, presumably, worshiped him, or is that a no go?

Actually, is there anything interesting you can do with the non chaos Gods? Brettonnia seems like it has some awesome stuff going on with the Lady and questioning and becoming a Grail Knight, but do the others have anything going on? Can you become a Chosen of one of the Order Gods or anything along those lines?

Hell, considering that in Warhammer particularly pious priests are basically wizards and can do miracles that affect the battlefields, you know, can they do that in a war in a similar fashion to magic characters?

Awesome, good to know.

There's way to become chosen for a non chaos God. That's really only for the big 4. Also there are no gods of order anymore, they got retconned back in the early 90s.

Divine magic would be a nice addition, but to do it right we'd need to redo the whole religious system.

I'm gonna assume that you meant no way to become chosen. It only being for the big 4 is incorrect in canon as far as I understand since there are a few examples of non Chaos God's having chosens, for example Sigmar was the chosen of Ulric back when he was still mortal, Aenarion was the chosen of Asuryan, and Guinevere might have been the chosen of Sigmar? In any case, I can understand why that's not in the game as it is really rare and I'm not going to complain about it or anything.

You're confusing order with Law. Gods of Order are a name I've seen a few times, though I can't find on google for some reason, for the Non Chaos and Non Law Gods, like Sigmar and Taal and Ulric and Dazh. Not sure if that's only for human Gods or if other races gods also count in that.

As an aside, I don't think the Gods of Law are really out retconned? I mean, you still see worshipers of Solkan every once in a while I think which means the other Law deities should still be around, it's just that they don't really matter seeing as Solkan barely has any followers and has the most of the bunch, one of the others is basically completly incomprehensible to more or less everybody, and Arianka is stuck in a prison so can't do anything. i'm pretty sure they still exist, they just don't matter.

That's a shame, but understandable.

They were blessed by the respective gods and a champion of their respective godsx, but they were not "chosen" as that's a chaos only thing.

Ah sorry for the confusion. I figured you meant gods of law as there's no way the non-chaos gods could be considered gods of "order." Remember this is a group that includes Ranald, Khaine, Manann/Stromfels, Gork & Mork, the Great Maw, etc.

As I didn't play Wood Elves yet (Played Lahmians, Greenskins, Dark Elves, Chaos, Bretonnians and some other factions) how is playing as Wood Elves? Is it enjoyable or there isn't much to do as them?

Hi, fairly new to CK2, very new to the mod. I'm playing as vampire, Vlad is awesome, and I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, how well do vampire knight retinues hold up against, well, *anything* else. They seem very strong, but they only get 10 per company. I'm currenty struggling against the Empire and my recently vassilized conquered infadels keep trying to rebel due to my having low troop count (currently using 10 company's of knights, so 100 retinue troops :/)

Secondly, whats the best way to spread vampirism religion to all these crazy infidels, but for the life of me I cannot seem to get their approval high enough (-100 castian hurts), and I tried imprisoning them hoping I could force them to convert on condition of their release, but of course that didn't work.

Any tips would be appreciated!

As an aside, this thread

might be better equipped to help you.

I'll try to answer your questions, but, keep in mind, I'm not an expert and I haven't played very much with Vlad yet though I intend to.

For the Vampire Knights, as far as i know they are incredible. I'm pretty shaky on how combat works myself, but I did watch a Let's Play of Vlad on youtube and the player found great success with the Vampire Knights. I'm pretty sure at one point in the Let's Play I saw the Holy Order that is just a little more then 100 Vampire Knights take on multiple groups more then double it's size.

As for personal experience, I'm playing Nefarata and the first thing I did was buy the Holy Order. I've had no problem turning multiple armies of greater size to mulch, but I did back them up with my own men and it may have just been because I have good commanders.

I think they are worth it, but, as I just said, little experience so I might be wrong. Definitely buy the Holy Order first chance you get as they are super cheap to buy and to maintain. Make sure you don't accidentally disband them though, they might get bought up buy the time you realize your mistake,

As for the Vampire Religion thing, well, one thing you could do is just turn the local leaders of you land who dislike you into Vampires. That should make them significantly less likely to rebel and hopefully they will work on converting the population on their own. Plus, if the people under them rebel but they don't they'll have to at least try and take care of it themself though you might want to help them anyway. You are probably going to need to imprison them to turn them into vampires though.

Again, take this with a grain of salt.

Basically, you have to use your Court Priest to preach Vampirism in the capital provinces of your new major vassals. One way is to get their heir, or a member of their family, as a ward. With the second option you'll have to do some intriguing/murder to get them to inherit. Hopefully they'll get the event that'll convert them to Vampirism. Otherwise, if they rebel and you imprison them you can try to turn them into a vampire before releasing/ransoming them. That'd take care of the "Evil vampire!" minus they get towards you. . .
