Hi I have encountered the same situation as @fuggiristo. The traffic volume reduced significantly since the 1.1.12 update which "fixed” residents shopping in office area. Even during the peak hour, I barely see any traffic on neither expwy or street road. The School System are not affected and students go to school as usual but most of the other Citizens are stuck at home and unable to drive out to work or shopping.

For those who's already at work, they turned idle after a while and never made a move to go home. Things are getting weird and I am clearly not the only one been thru these based on the comments below. It turned out that CO just kept screwing things up. I simply can't tolerate a city with 400k people having only 1000 cars active. I know nothing bout coding so I can't do nothing but write something here for helps.

Another problem is that at the very beginning of the city the population grows very fast, but no car moves in. And after a while a lot of cars started to move in. After that the population grows really slow. I don't know if it is something about this mod or it's the bug of the game's demand system.
At what size population did it slow down? The game does slow down the demand the bigger the city gets

It starts at 5k-6k. And after 2 days in game the growth came to a boom, suddenly grew to 14k. After that it seems that the growth of population became normal. I really love the function to slow down time since in the vanilla game time flows really fast compared to the speed of vehicle, bringing a lot of traffic jam because everyone go to work at one time. The train actually runs at 20km/h in vanilla game, making it unable to deal with that amount of passengers. Thank you for the great mod.

I'll check it

Realistic Trips has been updated

Fixed overtime calculation bug
Updated after work trip logic to favor work to home trips over work to other
Disabled possibility of lunch time for part time workers
Adjusted sleep schedule for part time workers so that they have more free time

I just installed this mod and it's working perfectly and well beyond my expectations. I'm so happy I found this mod. I'm using the "Germany" preset for settings. Thank you so much for making this mod. It has made CS2 a delight to play (I enjoy managing traffic). This will be a permanent addition in all my builds now.

NEW BUG FOUND:

Citizen going to parks\leisure don't stay and immediately go back home as soon as they arrive, even with avg hours parks\leisure etc. sliders set to max.

You can easily test it by looking at a park and seeing people coming and going away costantly without staying.

Disabling this mod makes people spend hours in parks instead of leaving immediately.

Hi there,
There is a problem with the mod.

I play at the slowest time speed (factor 10)

Since the patch my cities population dropped form 328,000 down to 36,000... it would grow by a few hundred then drop by a few hundred and stay on 36,000.

I let the game run for a few hours and it didnt change population in that time.

I decided to change my time factor from 10 to 1 and my population exploded, currently at 50,000 after about 5 minutes and growing at over 5000 ppl an hour.

Im glad to have found the problem but sad that i cant use the mod in the same way for now

Perhaps try to use it with a lower time factor? I don't know why this is happening but I'll take a look
