That's about what I expected. I don't imagine the mod designers adding content for playable dragons any time soon. I still want to see the event for myself. Legitimately if possible.

Edit:finally found it in
high valyrian events. Gotta be one of four dynasties or valyrian culture group AND lunatic or fire obsessed. I was on the right track. It just takes a long time. Unless you're stupid and/or crazy, ha ha.

In the steam library right click Crusader Kings 2. Open Properties. Go to the Betas tab and click 2.1.6 and let the game roll itself back. You'll have to manually switch off any Charlemagne DLC you've already bought including the clothing packs but you should be able to play this mod again. If you want to play normal Crusader Kings 2 with Charlemagne again head back to betas and switch it back to normal.

...there really should be some kind of event for Tywin to join into Joffrey's war against Stannis once that begins.

AFAIK, this is a Vanilla problem that can't be fixed by modding. But workaround is very easy for player;

- Once Jofrey is betrothed to Margaery, pause the game.
- Using the console switch to Joffrey ( "Play 9316" )
- Call both Tywin and Mace to war against Stannis.
- Using console command "charinfo", see what is the id of your character.
- Use your id to switch back to your character. ( "Play 9999" )

As you will not unpause the game during this process, AI wil not do anything with your character.

Ah, thanks! Yes, I was hoping there was a workaround, but didn't think to use that one. Kinda obvious in retrospect. :p

Will you wait a few weeks to implement the significant wealth of information added by AWOIAF's release yesterday, or are you putting in a compatch once you finish eras?

First we need paradox to fix most of their bugs which we can't fix

You may as well start on the flavor, then, if I may suggest? The gameplay itself may be buggy, but it should still be the same to code event chains and decisions, shouldn't it?

There is a LOT you can add for Ass'hai and the Shadow, very creepy stuff there. The masks are only for the mages, as well, so that is something that should be corrected.

It will be done when it is done. The book on;y came out 2 days ago and not every member of the dev team has read it yet.

Except for the part where it explcitly states that ANYBODY walking the streets in Asshai is either masked or veiled.

I have to say, reading through some of the stuff in the book, I feel like George has been playing this mod...

Also, Elmo Tully and his son Kermit?

Well played.

George, I don't know. But one of the other co-writers of that book (Elio García I believe) has at least played a little bit of the mod.

I also had the feeling that some parts of the book seem to be winks, or great information pieces, towards fan works like this. Specially Yi Ti; now we know it's not a fantasy version of India as it was previously thought, but one of Imperial China.

I also found interesting the bits about Qohor and Ib. Now we know that the former worship Shub-Niggurath (With this and the Drowned God, it's apparent that George loves the Lovecraft mythos) and the latter are whaler Dwarves (of the fantasy kind, bearded and industrious). Of course the last one could be just exaggerations from the Maester or whomever described the Ibbish to him.
