I think he means that Littlefinger is the actual lord of Harrenhal without ever setting foot in it, like Slynt was. Slynt is not recorded as being lord, though.

Because it's not the same. Littlefinger was made Lord of Harrenhall after the war ended and no one disputes his claim, the castle is held for him. Janos Slynt was made "Lord of Harrenhall" at a time when the war was still ongion and the castle was actually held by the enemy. Just like how Garlan Tyrell was made "Lord of Brightwater Keep" even those the Florents still hold it and he has never set foot inside it.
In game mechanics terms, niether of them are ever actually the Lords of those castles, but they are givena strong claim to it, which allows them to try and enforce their "title".

I'm also happy to note that I was right about southerners being able to become skinchangers:p

No one ever said they couldn't and there is nothing ingame stopping them. You just have to be a southerner who follows the Old Gods religion.

More Westford, unless I'm mistaken, is Faith of the Seven, along with House Crane, who also have the ability in the female line. Personally, I now think it has more to do with the blood of the First Men(Which many houses in the Reach and Westerlands have, according to AWOIAF).

The Westfords come from a very very tennuously canon game that is filled with errors and they already have the possiblility as a special exception.

As has been stated repeatedly. Inagme skinchanging and greenseeing stuff are religious flavour for the Old Gods religion. It's flavour stuff that helpos make each religion somewhat unique. By the same token, there is no reason that follower of the Seven couldn't raid someone, or a R'hllor worshipping Penthoshi Magister couldn't hold a Tourney. But ingame those things are unique flavour for the Drowned God and The seven religions.

Is it not possible to add it for dynasties in the south that are known for it, genetically? You already did it for the Farwynds of Lonely Light. Could certainly do some Crane skin-changing.

Could there be a "War of Conquest" CB, since it seems like many rulers in AWOIAF declared these wars on each other for no reason other than ambition? There could be a piety penalty and a wait time between wars.

Not yet, just wait.

I've never understood why it is so hard for some mod teams to release compatibility patches without content updates. People would be far less pushy for the release if they were still able to play without rolling the patch back in the meantime.

charlemagne broke many things,

They have to fix that (and if I'm right from what blackninja told me, it broke the wars at the start of a scenario, which was/is a big issue) and then change stuff from the worldbook, this all takes time, so give them.

We've been ready to release a compatibility update for weeks now, it's just there isn't an official vanilla patch we can release one for. So essentially we're are waiting on Paradox.

knuckey post from Citadel(14.11)
We've been ready for a new update for a number of weeks now, once Paradox are also ready and release an official patch we'll been updating ASAP

also I can say as betatester. Beta was ready a the end of October, but some scenarios was buggy/broken(like AFFC, most popular, I think, or Dorne Rebellion) and mod suffer CTD(for me)
And some example: beta work with 2.2.0.2 beta patch, but 2.2.0.4 broke another scenario(After the Spring)

Patches without content updates are usually the easiest for mods to make a compatibility patch, especialy full conversion mods that need no original content. This patch added and changed a lot of features, this means a lot of codes to check, test and add to the mod. Also the new features are being changed into something useful for the mod, that takes quite some time, but you will have to wait eitherway no point complaining...
