Patch 0.9.1 Notes
This update takes advantage of the new modding capabilities introduced by the vanilla beta patches, the highlight of which is the new moddable diplomatic actions. Many other fixes and additions, including from the World of Ice and Fire, are ongoing.

- Updated mod for 2.2.1.3 beta patch
- Added 'The Rogue Prince' bookmark, depicting Prince Daemon's adventure in The Stepstones
- All personal interaction and slave actions are now in the diplomatic menu. Many other decisions also moved to diplomatic menu.

- If you are wondering about the question mark flags everywhere, there are currently no flags for many areas.

Events, jobs, plots and decisions:
- All personal interaction and slave actions are now in the diplomatic menu. Many other decisions also moved to diplomatic menu.

- Added Elaena's three husbands and her children
- Updated Viserys II's childrens birth dates

- Aegon IV chapter:
- Added Aegon's nine mistresses and all known bastards
- Updated Aegon IV's children's birth dates and traits
- Added Grand Maester Alford and Ser Joffrey Staunton

- God Empreros of Yi Ti will have a "the "colour" Emperor" nickname based on dynasty
- Every yi_ti culture dynasty has a unique colour assigned using canon where applicable

Dothraki:
- Removed the Dothraki trait
- Improved Khalasar inheritance when the elected heir is not the dynastic heir
- Reduced the upkeep cost for horse archers, to help dothraki with levy maintenance
- Fixed problem where dothraki would sometimes not migrate properly
- Added new Dothraki names, both canon and non-canon
- Dothraki can no longer use 'Charlemagne' DLC create kingdom decision
- A Dothraki player character will no longer be forced to give away provinces when increasing their Khalasar
- A new Khal will no longer emerge into provinces currently being migrated into by another Khal
- Independent AI Khals will now raid more frequently

Balance:
- Added a post claimant adventurer event for when they fail, to make sure they get a sensible liege afterwards
- Increased the ships gained from pirate dens slightly
- The AI will now never use the siege/battle decisions for dragons with less than 20 martial
- Made non-valyrian/targ incest a bit rarer
- Landless adventurers invading without a claim can no longer call allies into their war
- If Aegon revives the Freehold as a republic he will now no longer remake it an empire after a few years
- Summer Islanders are now more likely to accept 'chamber visits'
- A child declared a bastard via plot will now gain claims on their former father's titles
- Increased the vassal limit bonus from having high diplomacy
- High valyrians due to be culled can no longer face the dragon
- Dragons locked in a dragon pit can now only be faced by the family of the province owner

Graphics and portraits:
- Removed new vanilla interface elements from character screen for now

Map:

Misc:
- Added cuture based nicknames for foreign rulers
- Added some location based nicknames for battles/sieges
- Optimised Triarch elections using variables and event targets
- Triarch elections will now continue as normal in Volantis if a character of west/high valyrian culture comes to power
- Optimised kingsmoot election using variables and event targets. Also adjusted the voting AI to get more realistic outcomes.
- Optimised kingsguard offer events
- Added random dynasties for many cultures with a shortage

Bugfixes:
- Winning a slave raid now fulfils the 'win the war' ambition. Also no longer usable with colonisation of ruins.
- AI Characters who cannot marry will no longer plot to kidnap unmarried maidens

- When changing a republic to kingdom the slave buildings will now properly move to the new castle holding capital
- AI can no longer pick their captor as their champion in a trial by combat

- Fixed problem where duplicate Dark Sister and Lady Forlorn swords could appear on inheritance
- Maesters can no longer be made commanders of city watches
- A patrician who is legitimised by their liege will no longer have their dynasty changed
- Fixed mega war problem where when executing a religion head you would gain their titles resulting in a gameover
- Fixed mega war problems where king tier patricians were being split off from the rpublic when the war starts

Also, any chance (even though this is a beta-beta) that the crash a lot of people had after a few years in the former version been fixed? if you don't know, I'll suppose we'll find out soon though!
 
Emphasis on BETA guys this was released purely so we can see how all of the new modding features work and if the changes we made are good so it will DEFINITELY have a plethora of bugs.
 
Awesome that new diplomacy with GOT :) sure speeds things up.
Well crashes was to be expected but that new diplomacy sure cleans up all those zillion decisions interface and old slow interaction system,

So love it :D
 
Create honor guard event is bugged no way to click on okay. So it is stuck on screen. Thus you can't even skip time.

Anyway most of the story events seems to run when in AI control (but that was with normal beta the same story).

Anyway ah well big one is the ambition and lack of the focus button.
But can't be done till way of life is released.

Can't wait for the mod to come out after way of life, the diplomatic UI sure make it much more sensible and easy going.
 
LoL they have to rewrite tons of other pressing issues ;) if you can't even use the mechanics.
How important is the war or joining liege etc, when game is already crashing before hand.

Man some people are like slave drivers, hahah imprison/kidnap and enslave lash lash ;)
 
Well ambitions does work after the first month skipping, observe play almost works fine infact no crashes at all.
But seems ruler created toons somehow I can't even pass the first year in GoT beta.

Maybe after another clean reinstall test, >.< days of reinstall install and reinstall it seems >.<
 
The installer doesn't let you choose the directory where you have the mod folder. It chooses C: even when it is not there. ¬¬
 
Well I have turned off autosave to never for now, cause I just couldn't pass first year with a ruler created character in Esos.

(He am a slaver) and can we please have a option to go visit your wife bed room, sure she can refuse event like lovers event. But eh it is annoying you can sleep with all the courtiers and other people wife.

But can't even visit your own wife/lover/concubine/slave when you are chaste >.< the 1 year or 9 months cooldown is enough.
For a attempt, seems silly you can try with any women/courtier around when you not chaste.

Also need a way to force execute kidnap attempt after 1 year (with the same mechanics that the plot has failed been abandoned) seems silly waiting 2-3 years before a 50% chance with 200%+ plotpower.

I mean Rheagar sure could have died if old age trying to kidnap Lyana ;)
 
Hmm, a Beta release this close to the next official patch/ dlc. Well since it's compatible with the latest beta version of CK 2, we can hope the adaption of the mod to Ways of Life won't take ages.

Edit:
Seems Prince Daemon for some reason is unable to use his dragon in the Rogue Prince scenario. This lead to his invasion of the Stepstones to always fail.

The smarter AI seem to by pass losing battles and strongholds, while going for victory points to 100%
Example makes Daenerys always lose Mereen, Stannis and Jon Snow always losing the rebelion.

Infact I don't know but it seems even with events troops like ironborn, the mass zerg gathering (cause of slower sieging nowadays)
Easily fights off there invasion forces.

It feels strange, maybe others have more luck but in my play trough always Daenerys falls and Snow and
Stannis seem to lose, with Stannis death/losing ruler position, the special followers will be autokilled.
 
also need free slaves in the diplomatic options, currently AI does free them but for players the option isn't even there.
anyway love the mod, miss the matriach option of the republic in 0.6.1.
But still the mod has gone a quantum jump in performance and feature gain especially with Way of Life diplomatic UI.

Well sad you guys have to squash so many bugs :(, but still awesome mod.
Am totally addicted again, even with all those annoying bugs.

I hope with Way of Life, we'll be able to name a "Seduce" target as a Queen of Love and Beauty to help with the seducing, like Rhaegar did with Lyanna.

Yeah, the AI is bad at invasions. But I actually checked out why Daemon did so badly and realized the dragon options didn't work.
 
Just checked and our 0.9.1 beta is compatible with CK2 vanilla patch 2.3

The Way of Life features however have not be integrated, so it is recommended you disable that DLC for now if you have it.
