Yeah, Daemon is shown as the commander of his army, but he doesn't actually count as such for dragon-using purposes. You have to change him out for another character, then make him commander again, and then it will work properly.

I also encountered a strange bug on my first playthrough as Daemon where winning the war and gaining the Stepstones seemed to put Daemon under AI control (but without booting me from the game). I figured loosing the "Daemon's Host" title might have something to do with it.

Another issue was that Daemon's event ships despawns too soon after winning the war, leaving his army trapped in Essos (or Dorne, I suppose) if you aren't already on the Stepstones. Err. Maybe I should make another thread?

Anyway. Now that it seems Way of Life might replace done of the actions in this mod, do you think it could be possible to cut those old actions out and put them in a submod for all us who probably won't be getting WoL for some time? I would appreciate that a lot.

Had these problems, indeed; after I won the war for the Stepstones, no event fired (for example, I had children that came without events, got wounded without an event, couldn't use my dragons as I couldn't get any events, etc.)

If we do decide to use any of the DLC features, we will keep the old actions/features as well for people without the DLC. For example, we will keep the visit chambers for non-DLC people if we decide to replace it with the seduce action.
 
Just checked and our 0.9.1 beta is compatible with CK2 vanilla patch 2.3

Checksum is CBWH

The Way of Life features however have not be integrated, so it is recommended you disable that DLC for now if you have it.

Ops I ran the game with it (no other new DLC though, even if I have them) so any complications aside it hasn't been implemented?
So far AI ruler is using it as well as me (not sure what it does anyway, the eh potraits had me full with the rage :p will go back and see what way of life does in vanillia )

Summer Islanders should probably have both.
 
Could someone give me a few pointers on playing as the Dothraki? It seems like every time I migrate, I lose every building except for the slave camp. So its a huge waste of money building archer camps and such. Is this meant to happen?
 
Oh trial of combat for the AI is not firing towards the player.
So they do go trough the trial of combat, but never present the offer to the player or other AI.

That is maybe a huge issue for why all the huge changes in control in westeros.
Without trial of combat option (which strangely works fine for the player vs player engagement)
The AI is just ignoring it but still goes trough the events without it realky taken place.
After one trial of combat even the player will not get another.

Didn't take a look yet at that script :p but just informing the modders.
 
The cb_types/000_others_cb_types.txt script really need to go trough validator, it is #tooltip description and } that is misplaced. Causing huge amount of errors and definetly more stable once that one is gone (aside from other cb and events errors)

That solved atleast made the game less crashing randomly (it still happens)
Sadly the major evil doer in my games, was the the b_dyn_family palace cause of blackfyre trait, not being converted right. it jumped into a b_dyn_random city castle whatever it wanted(nothing you guys can solve sadly sorry :( It seems inherent ruler creator and republic bug ) had to edit the save game manually to fix that bug.

That first issue probably deserves a thread of its own (along with a description of exactly where the mistakes are, so people can fix it on their own). I'm not sure how much attention the mod creaters pay to this particular thread, but I know they've previously requested bugs be reported in individual threads to make them easier to track/spot.

And good find, if it cuts down on the random crashing.
 
Bug thread is closed - happened in v.9 and v.91 for me.... whenever you play anyone associated with Blackfyre dynasty their courtiers will die very quickly. I am getting massive turnover in courtiers, I am constantly getting spammed with they arrived at your court... and then they die about a month later.

Started fresh Blackfyre rebellion bookmark and happens right away with me.

Only mod is Game of Thrones .91 (previously .9) and all official mods except Aztecs/Charlemagne/Way of Life
 
High valyrian dying is normal, it where a onaction scripts culls the high valyrian, to prevent aside from 1 player generated high valyrian,most high valyrian will be culled or changed to eastern / western valyrian (if they are rulers)

Aside from those preset dynasty. So they should have just give western or eastern valyrian. Courtiers.
That culling of high valyrian script they will not remove, or else it is too easy to end up with a high valyrian world.

Anyway the culling of high valyrian has been ongoing since I played this mod way back in 0.5.
So to get your high valyrian world you really need to concentrate on preserving those special dynasties.
 
A minor thing, but I looked through the years of Aegon's reign and he never seems to found the King Guard. Also, the Greatheart seems to no longer spawn as a courtier. A pity, I always liked having the first Knight Commander be called the Greatheart.

Also, the decision box is out of its normal frame. You can still use it though.

Only other complaint is that my favourite utility mod, auto build which automates the building of buildings, does not work. A shame since I have to build up Kings Landing from scratch...

EDIT: Forgive me, I was too hasty in posting this and after researching furhter I see that Aegon does in fact found the Kingsguard at the proper time with the proper Knight Commander. I also see that Greatheart was a kingsguard but at an unspecified time. Still wish I could make him the first commander though, he was a badass.

The second problem still stands, unfortunately.

EDIT2: Also, is there Kingguard functionality for when you found it but then make the New Valerian Empire your primary title? I remember that being a problem.

Well sofar way of life focus into the game modded at 3 months, simple modding prodcedure. (the team of GoT knows it)

Seems to make the game more complete then less, especially lack of technology (which the AI is still researching) And retinue.
Sad thing about focus, it does mess up some lore stuff like Sansa getting seduced and making babies.
But then again seems Aegon is murdering his own sisters >.< (that is not focus related)

Faceless men are a big threat with focus on and rulers, they are being used in ambitions to replace job positions.
Thus eh it is very annoying to have your councillors killed often by faceless/sorrowfull man :p even courtiers get those offerings.
And eh they are a bit OP cause nothing you can do to stop them. Unless you find out the plot quick enough.

Unsullied really need a option/decision for not selling unsullied, getting flooded with tons of request for buying unsullied is annoying, every month 20-30 request >.<

Also anyway to darken the dye hair colors, know why the hair are dyed to fit the lore, but some darker instead of brighter colors would look beter.
Still CTD once in a while, but after the CB fixes, I have no clue what is causing it and it is random.
