I dunno if this belongs in a WTf moment thread, but, as Aegon the Conqueror, I subjugated all the other kingdoms but Dorne and the Iron Isles (I was replenishing my strength) but a Peasant revolt triggered in the Crownlands (it was a one or two county revolt) with about 4,000 enemy troops. So I defeated them with my inferior force thanks to the unfortunately repetitive "Use your Dragon in battle" and sieged their lands. So I used the also redundant "Use your Dragon during the siege", a special punishment for subjugated traitors of mine. But something went wrong...

With a 2x Duel modifier, a Valyrian sword, a Dragon, 37 Martial against an enemy with about 10 Martial or so, no Valyrian sword and a Duel modifier as well (I don't remember the exact details of the enemy but you all understand that Aegon was clearly gonna win), Aegon the Conqueror, the King of the Realm, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, etcetera, etcetera, is outright slain in Personal combat by the aforementioned lowly count at the ripe age of 30! What gives?! He was craven and lost the Just trait though, does that affect combat in any way?

Simple the dirty peasant shit cheated. This is why Westeros needs feudalism, because the small folk are evil bastards.

Is there a way to trigger Aegon VIs invasion without using the last bookmark?

The false dragon can show up if you start from any bookmark post Robert's Rebellion. I've seen him show up about fifteen years into the Greyjoy Rebellion.

Yeah strange things are happening in this version.

Was playing as Dany and had just conquered Mereen. All of sudden the Masters of Mereen joined into the war of the Iron Throne. Two weeks later my new liege was the King of the Iron Isles. As was Dorne, all of the Andals, Bravos, Pentos...

Meanwhile Ghiscar, Astapor and Yunkai also had a new liege, The North.

Uhm.

WoW this sounds like a titular title bug very bad indeed.
Had it in 0.95, but was cause of my own modifications, so when a mega war triggers.

The titular title totally mess up the whole mage war by drafting in the whole realm and then suddenly reassigning them back wrongly.
Hope you loaded a savegame, instead of a new game.

If it is a newgame, then they need to hotfix this patch ASAP.

He is using an outdated version of a submod, this does not happen in the base mod

I'm playing Lord Paramount Roger II Reyne, lord of the Westerlands, the Riverlands and the Crownlands, and I decided that it's time to break free from the Targaryens.
Only the lord of the Reach joined my independence faction, but as we are strong enough to win anyway and the other lords hate the king too, I decided to demand independence.
However, there seems to be a problem with people choosing sides- The lords of the North, the Vale and the Stormlands just sit there idly, neutral, while the prince of Dorne remains part of the Iron Throne even through this is a civil war and he is in peace. I reloaded a few times, and the exact same thing happened, I even tried to reload as various lords and there seems to be no decision to choose a side. Is this a bug?

No, I checked- none of them has a truce with him. That's because the last king (who I had a truce with) died in an, er, unfourtunate accident.

Actually it also happened once without any submod. But it hasn't been happening for some time.

Also, I think this has been mentioned before, but I should point out that the problem with Lannister children becoming Drowned God still persists.

Actually back on page 2 another user posted an easy way to fix this.

Possibly quickfix for drowned god Lannister children

Find #Lannister children may get traditional names in dynasty_events file
In this part:
immediate = {
religion = drowned_god
if = {
drowned_god change to the_seven

Crap! I didn't even know that was possible! But I mean, Draecarys! How did he not smite the bastard into a crispy fillet?
I agree. I think dragon riders should have completely separate combat events, because iirc being a dragon rider doesn't lower your chances of being wounded by a footman. You're in the fucking sky, how do you get maimed or wounded in the 'heat' of battle? Any arrows are are almost always going to miss or bounce off the dragon's scales. I'd assume a dragon rider's body would be completely hidden behind the dragon since usually the dragon is above enemies.

I completely agree. This, and maybe a Scorpion event or "building" should be added to the game to actually make it more realistic. I mean, I don't know if a dragon rider would strafe in a sense, and swoop low to burn everything in sight, but it's still ridiculous as hell.

And even then, a Dragon, who is so attached to its owner, would not sit idly as his rider is fighting. He would be like "screw him, he's a dead man!” and he'll be fried and carbonized like KFC chicken.

I have an issue with subject conversion events - they don't seem to work. I try to refresh the character I am viewing after the event is done and it still shows the character to have the same religion as before.

Trying this with R'Hollor or whatever it's called in Westeros as King Stannis of the Iron Throne. Really complicates conversion to the "true faith" and some why I don't get any province conversions at all, which is even more frustrating, considering I even, admittedly, cheated my priest to 40 learning (so 9% yearly chance). Sometimes like 3% chance yields a conversion of an entire kingdom within a few months, now I can't even get the capital converted, uhh.

Also, why does this mod not have retinues? Is it possible to some how mod them in and what is the reasoning for not having them anyway? Would be really nice for the Iron Throne as when the war system is activated, you are very much likely to have war declared on by neighbors who see you weaker and don't recognize the "alliances".

Also a bug - if someone declares war on you while you're already in a war with all other kingdoms except one involved, the other kingdoms do not join you. I was playing as Iron Throne and I was invaded by Aegon IV or whoever (War of Five Kings bookmark), then, after all the paramounts started deciding whether to join or not, Robb Stark declared war on me for one province I owned in Riverlands, and I was not even given the event to call the other lords to war - I had to fight completely alone even though The Reach and The Vale had helped me in the other war (and would have definitely helped in this one).

Also, last thing - how is it determined whether other kingdoms join you? Is it relations based or something? Is there a way to guarantee they will always join you? And why is this war system applied outside of Westeros as well? I was playing as Dany in Meeren and had like 3-4 kingdoms and the annoying war system was activating there, it was quite annoying to not have control over the already small army.

Another problem - for whatever reason, I lost my "just" trait and got the "tyrant" trait for attempting to imprison someone who was involved in a plot (the information screen clearly showed I had a valid reason to arrest the vassal). Why does this keep happening? That makes no sense at all - I had a valid reason to do it, no tyranny involved. Now I have to cheat to fix this issue as I am not informed that this would be intended and not an actual bug, it makes no sense anyway.

Is it just me or are the White Walkers no threat at all?
I played the late (Clash of Kings and a Feast for Crows) start dates many times, but never did I see them doing anything other than conquer the Kingdom Beyone The Wall.
I play a game with Robb Stark currently, and Lord Commander Jon Snow declared a War for the Dawn so I can to his aid, and the white walkers has onlt 1500 soldiers, we easily crashed them... Is this intended?
