So I seem to recall in previous versions of the game not being able to so much as sail through the smoking sea without contracting some horrible disease/finding treasure. Now my guy has been parked there with his army for a few years now and nothing has happened. Is it broken?
There is currently a single event that fires so long as you have less than 500 wealth and don't have any of the following:

A dragon egg
A generic valyrian steel sword (a named one like Blackfyre is fine)
Be a member of the starry wisdom religion

If you meet the conditions, the event fires. It has a 1% chance of giving an egg, a 1% chance of giving a sword, 3% chance of giving 500 ducats + 200 prestige, and a 95% chance of kill 95% of your troops, changing your faith to starry wisdom, and another thing I've yet to determine what exactly it does.

You can find the entire event in the evil_events.txt file. It's the first one in it.

Great news.

What's the Old frame portraits option during installation?

its for those who would rather have the older frames, not the post horse lords ones.

I've noticed a few bugs.

The first thing is that I have feudal Dothrakis on start...
The second thing is that there seems to be a bit of a bug regarding the liege of the owner of Castamere (I think) in later starts.

The only bug I've noticed so far is that by starting in the A feast for crows scenario the Lord Paramounts are all called kings, even when they are vassal to the Iron Throne.

Did Starry Wisdom replace the Drowned God for the purposes of Lovecraft-inspired events?

They are effectively just an evil religion that is like actually evil compared to the Drowned God which is more just Norse pagans, not inherently evil but they sometimes did evil things. This religion was started by an angry claimant who started slavery en masse and practised necromancy etc and literally ate people. He also served as the beginning of Yi Ti's version of the Long Night

There's still Dothraki and N Ghai COA's missing, looks bit unpolished for a 1.0 release.

The Ninepenny War is causing the megawar events (the realm is at peace (without the war actually ending)->the king is calling you to war) to happen over and over again every few days.

I've noticed that sometimes I during a war I get spammed messages telling me that a particular lord has decided to join my cause.
I'd get a messages saying telling me that, for example, the lord of Tumbletown has joined my cause. I'd then selected the top answer, it would go away, and then the same message would pop up again almost immediately. This would happen several times in succession and then stop and things would go back to normal. Has happened a couple of times now. Never the same lord twice.

Anyone else have the problem that when trying to colonise provinces that are either ruins or part of the dothraki/jogos n'hai area you cant because you dont have a CB? When playing as a non Dothraki/Jogos n'hai you cant take over those provinces for some reason untill they have been colonised by the dothraki/jogos n'hai. The cost from what i remember was 500 gold to make a colony. Has this been changed or soemthing?
