No CTD issue here, but during mega wars I am seeing a lot of lord paramounts declare themselves kings and then need to be reconquista'd. Also, some dragon portraits seem to be broken-- Vhagar is a fat, elderly woman.
This version seems buggy? I have the CTD issue as well. Besides that I also have a problem where the portraits aren't shown in the Friends tab, and a issue with the White Book
White Book is also definitely broken, yes. It's still showing quite a few dead members.
Apparently there are some differences between the installer version (Windows exe) and the zipped version (Mac / Linux / zipped files), particularly in event/scenario_events.txt.

I have the opposite problem I can save but I can't load my saves after running the game for a few years.
On Reddit/Citadel forums, multiple people on Mac (including me) have an issue with characters having the "Emperor of Ghiscar" title, and Ghiscar owning random Westeros land. This occurs even if there's a full/fresh install of CK2 and the Mod, even after deleting the Documents/Paradox folder and starting fresh. Could be the .zip file had a packing error, as even the checksum is different than what it should be.

You have to select the bookmark, back out to the main menu then select the bookmark and finally hit play for it to work. At least that has been the fix in the past but I do not have a Mac to test it on.
That works but you can't select one of the first 2 bookmarks when you select first. Furthermore there is still a CTD when trying to save.
Personally I think Got bookmark should be patched instead of removed (if that was the plan) because playing just before the start of the WotFK seems to be very interesting. Thats just my two cents tho, take it or leave it.
Ironman mode being enabled does not necessarily mean achievements can be received. Check vanilla CK2, you'll see a little bar at the bottom of that interface telling you whether or not you can get achievements.I can't understand, I see that i can recieve achivs, this is very odd
The entire joke about that bookmark is that people very often request it but like the sarcastic events say, every decisions revolves around reacting to Ned or is done by an unlanded character anyway so the player cannot influence that at all.
Yeah, Ned was pretty much one of the immediate catalysts for the War, didn't even think of that. Ah well, I guess thats why I don't mod. Cheers!
If we could play unlanded characters the scenario would be great, but that opens up its own set of many many many issues
Mine was running fine for ages. Needed to exit and now when I reloaded my game it dies when it tried to autosave. Quicksaves work fine. I'm gonna turn off autosave and see what happens; whether it is the autosave or 1 Jan of the next year.
Also, most characters are wearing a cow skull or some other mask on their face. Everyone from Aegon through to my minor slaves.

Got past the date fine with autosave off. Went to turn autosave back on and at crashed immediately.

It crashes every time I get on to play as well. Especially with Valyrian, it seems they are unplayable.
