I have an excellent network at work that I have been using for some months now at work. Which works great.
HOWEVER......... I also have 4 machines at home which are networked to each other. I no probs with the 4 machines playing EU2 local via IP addresses or HOI. However unlike at work I can't seem to host any V-net games using V-net.
However I can host say shooter games like MOH (medal of honor) no probs. With other online users joining in.
V-net seems to be a bit more tempermental.....
I have stopped using any firewall (software) protection and can join outside EU2 or HOI games however can't when I host form one of my machines at home. I have placed the hosting machine in the "DMZ" and still no luck.
I have tried a SMC and Linksys router with still no luck. Any ideas guys? I would really like to host a game or two from home with people besides friends who physically come over?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
