Congratulations for the fix.

Please fix everything else but leave the View Profile button disabled in lobbys for W:RD,the game can only benefit from that ;).

PapaYankee, care to elaborate what the outlying issue was, and what was or is being done that it won't happen again?

Nah that crap killed SD, at least in WRD everyone could see the impending team stacks and determine whether it was worth it or not to stay in the lobby, noobs could also somewhat organize their own noob games and kick higher level players so they could at least get some breathing room, can't do that here, 90% of my losses in 3v3's and 4v4's I could see post game that the stat disparity decided who was going to win before the game even started.

what you propose works great for noobstompers, not for those that want a decent game against non potatoes.
Oh yeah, the games are very decent when a stacked team kicks all above average players. Indeed.

Nah that crap killed SD
You are missing the real problem there : the poor matchmaking integration. If Quick Play had been of quality and from day one, we wouldn't be talking about a "View Profile" button.

Me and my friends are having problems with the game lately. When the match begins it immediately starts to show to everyone that someone is lagging (each person has somebody else shown) and 00:00 timer appears which never gets resolved. This happened 6 times now and I played only one 2v2 game. Most of the time people just start swearing and leaving because the problem never goes away.

Crotou answered it in a quick way,now that i have time i can do it slow mo.

What i propose is been asked on Eugen forum 100 times and cryed about it.
"Noobstompers" will always stomp, because they are people like me and you who wanna play the game together as a team,ts and shit, doesnt metter if its visible stats or disabled, they want to play ASAP.
Then with time the real noobstompers(dont wanna open up the DAY clan meme again) will use this view profile button in their interest and mostly,i would say 50-60% teams or more on some days will choose their opponents aka kick, bann better players to have easy Friday night on TS.
Then after some time you can count on your hands fingers how many real teams are still playing/getting banned and the rest are those noobstompers you talk about.

Thats a fact, disabling stats isnt the perfect solution, but surely not abusable as having it in lobbys imho.

The perfect solution would probably need coding aka adding levels into the player info like we had in W:EE.

Disabled stats before the match would also work great in SD if it had the wanted 1000-2000 players online. There is this wonderful Mute button, you can mute players that rekt/insulted/spammed you, just get them to talk in game and mute them after and you can follow their name changes on the mute list and easy avoid them .

Well my issue is and it is one of the reasons i haven't played much of Steel Div recently is that you can host a lobby and the people who join are all players with 10% win ratios, when they proceed to get rolled they either quit because they're bad or the game lasts for about 20 mins in the best case scenario and is a relaxing game against the ai. If you title the lobby no noobs it seems to have very little impact on the quality of players joining and you have no way of checking whether the guys you are playing against are semi competant or completely useless.

Oooh but we have matchmaking, but it takes longer than lobbies to find a game because no one uses it.

And finally if god forbid you want to play without friends you join a random lobby and find out after the game that guys you were up against all had 80% win rates while your teammates were all noobs.

The problem you are complaining about largely affects people with high win rates and or unpleasant attitudes to players who are worse than them.

I've played about 3000 hours of Red Dragon and i've been kicked from my fair share of games for no good reason but that doesn't mean i insist on stacking the way the game displays user stats to make it easier for me to get a game and harder for anyone who is average or below to find a reasonably balanced game.

Anyway it seems we are at polar opposites of view points, enjoy the stats free and breathtakingly popular Utopia that is steel division while it lasts...

That's assuming that Eugen is capable of implementing a decent, streamlined matchmaker that everyone uses, which it hasn't shown it's capable of doing. So the next best thing is taking matters into your own hands, stacked teams kicking equally skilled players sucks, but not being able to see teamstacks or if you're getting stuck with brand new players and handicapped sucks even more.

Pretty much this, despite the tears of rage from people who get kicked from lobbies occasionally, its interesting that Red Dragon for all its faults gets fairly consistent player numbers while Steel Division without view-able stats is dieing on its arse.

Oh yeah, because not having a View Stats button killed the game.

The current matchmaking is lacking the options it needs to be attractive and it arrived way too late. That's why we have to push Eugen to work on it. Having a View Stats button or not won't change anything apart from the average time before getting a game in lobbies (which is increased by View Stats button).
