You need to put together a method for installing the Skyve app from a website, or an .exe installer. Some of us cannot get the app to install at all, since there is no 'Install Skyve' button or prompt showing up in the main menu of the game or the launcher, after installing Skyve into your mods playset

You should be seeing an install button in the Options page in-game, under the Skyve section

If you don't see that too, then installing skyve from the website won't even work, because it needs some information from the game to properly get started, which is why the installation is from there

As per the entire people below me. You need to get out an .exe app ASAP. The installer will not show up if the game can't get past the loading screen. What a dumb way to deploy an app.

I am having the same issue. Have you resolved it yet
The only way it works for me is to launch it once the game has fully loaded... which seems counterintuitive because I'd like to know if I have mod issues before launching the game...

Any reason why my Skyve seems to be stuck on 14.0? There seems to be no way for me to force-update to 15.1. Downloaded and installed from Paradox Mods and installed it through there, still nothing. Skyve even indicates that *it* is out of date, but I cannot select a newer version (well, I can, but then it defaults right back to 14.0).

I live in Japan and the mod was updated whilst I was in-game last night, not sure if that might be causing some issues.

I am having the same problem with Skyve. Skybe seems to be stuck on on Ver 0.14. I have downloaded the updated versions 0.15.0 and 0.15.1, but the Skyve app stays selected to Ver 0.14

I did notice you can go to the Skyve Package page and manually select Ver 0.15.1. I can start the game with Ver 0.15.1, but it always reverts back to Ver 0.14.

Of note, I can still launch and play just fine with Ver 0.14

do a quick check on the PDX Mods page of skyve if it's selected on 0.14 in any of your playsets

More baffling to me: everywhere within Skyve it says the selected version is .14. Yet, I can see the DLC / CCP button in Skyve, and it also says ".15.1 Beta" in the bottom. So I am definitely running the latest version, but my playlist doesn't seem to realize it ... hmm.

I hadn't noticed this before, which might be why nothing seemed to change after uninstalling/reinstalling. Evidently I have always been running the latest version.

No way for me to install v0.15.1. Defender is blocking it and I cannot prevent it (and also I shouldn't). With v0.14 this wasn't an issue.

I needed to remove Skyve v0.14 first and cannot choose older version than v0.15.1 in paradox mods. So now I canont install it at all.

Yes, Skyve was selected on my Active Playset. It showed 0.15.1 as the latest mod, but on the Skyve mod page it showed 0.14.0 as being the selected version.

I went ahead an logged straight into CS2 without Skyve. Removed Skyve from the active playset, then reinstalled. That seemed to fix the problem. Now it shows as 0.15.1 as the selected version.

Suggestion:

there are many 'not quite right' Mods in the list. Would it be possible / desirable to give users the opportunity to only list mods that have no issues. I am aware that currently it is possible to fade them, but with many pages of mods, it would be much easier to be able to see only the Mods that it was fairly safe to use, and not habe to scroll down to another page quite so frequently?

Suggestion 2:

Much as I like the ability to page through Mods, I'd also like the option (if possible) to also see all of the mods in a scrollable 'single' page. I think that these two suggestions stand together as useful enhancements for many users. I'd actually suggest that the No Faults view would be especially good for newby's, who can't be expercted to understand that the most attractive Mods may not be the best mods to load early, because of their potential ability to crash the game.

Please consider.

ich kann seid dem update die option zur Installation von Skyve auch nicht mehr finden und bekomme seit dem update auch diese fehlermeldung angezeigt

The Syve update causes a virus detection, the application Asset Icon Library causes error messages when starting the game.
Maybe the new skyve update is corrupted by a virus!!!

Everything works with former version 0.15.1

Cannot load game after update of Skyve yesterday, even in safe mode. I also cannot roll back Skyve even after downloading the previous versions from the Paradox website and unclicking the automatic updates. I'm stuck on the newest version.

not sure if this will help

Lovely mod, thanks for all your hard work :)
Would love to see a feature implemented in the future to be able to "favourite" or "star" mods without adding it to a playset/profile, similar to the way you could on the Steam workshop for C:S 1.
Thank you!
