Game day: Sundays

Setup: Something mirroring TRUE only with players who won't quit.

Takers?

Scenario: Modified PE. 1492 or 1520 depending on majority vote.

1. Cultures shall be commonly colonic.
2. Leaders shall be somehow randomized. Details To be Determined.
3. All nations shall start with Infra 5.
4. Rules shall be minimal.
5. Country distribution shall be as much based on preferences as is humanly possible.
6. Austria, OE, Russia all gain Slavonic culture. Russia on the occasion of going with Constantinople in the church event.
7. Unless we get a Dutch player, the Dutch culture rule will be in effect in this game. Russia will make a grab for it.

Setting: Casual. RP encouraged but not required. Rules-lite. Military tradition rules.

Rules:
1. Obey the GM. He is your King and Absolute Ruler.
2. No eternal wars. Be sensible. When you've lost, you've lost. Let's keep this game Casual.
3. Editing will be kept to a minimum. If you think that I will deny an editing request, I likely will. Try to keep deals in the game.
4. Use common sense: For example; If vassalized, act like it. Don't just break it after the truce is expired.
5. Gamey behavior will not be tolerated; again, this is pretty much a common sense thing.
6. Vassals not allowed for nations 0-7 CENTRALIZATION. Nations with vassals ending a session at <8 CENT will lose their vassals. Exceptions will possibly be made for nations with small starting manpower up to the discretion of the GM. See rule 1.

Are you attempting to stir up trouble again, Fredrik?
No, my point was that everyone quit a game, in a bad way, sometimes.
It's afterall living persons behind each country with personal needs and feelings. It's like demanding that no-one is allowed to fart after a good meal of "Försvarets ärtsoppa". :)

Well he's got a point, you know...

Anyway, you should contact Daniel for this one. The "no quitting rule" is bound to give him a boner. :D

No, he doesn't have a point.

I didn't say "people who've never quit before".

I will not elucidate further as those clever enough don't need it and those not are beyond my wish for communication.

Pfft, quitters are evil. And I never have quit a game myself (though I once threatened to do so when I had a very bad day and Hive was involved*). And I know a few who haven't too. Only a few, but still.

* A bad combination!

Yeah that's right, the holy FAL threatened to quit!

And he also quit a game of CM today because I refused to call it luck that I defeated his team in a match. Talk about bad quitting...

It's another word for calling you dumb, a new one

You should rephrase "players who won't quit" as people who is as stupid as me will probably missunderstand it, like that is totally impossible, of course, in your "intelligent" world. :)

If you don't intend to participate in this game, but rather intend to attempt to stir up ill sentiment, I suggest you take it elsewhere. This is neither the time nor the place. :)

A game without quitters.. I volunteer! Sundays is a nice day for me.

Well, in case I am wellcome, I reserve my right to quit when people behave badly towards me. And then I am not talking about people DOWing or ganging me.

I have quit once when I was accused by the GM of lying and cheating  . As an example of behaving badly.

Then I was expelled from another game...

And I asked the GM for permission to leave in a 3rd game, and got it.

That completes my list of leaving games. :)

The Book of Slargos is filled with thousands of pages of inexplicable, illogical, contradictory and even offensive rules! Daniel could spend several lifetimes deciphering them and still he would wind up short. :p
