"The heads were first uncrowned, but in the late 15th century the crowns appeared, but only in Hungarian arms."

I've made a version with the crowns as well. :)

Ah no problem then. I actually read somewhere that the Dalmatian CoA when used by Venetians had a red (gules) backround.

Btw. regarding Bosnian CoA showed here it is more a Tvrtkovich (Kotromanic rulling dynasty) personal arms than anything else, but it was used for Bosnia as well. It's similar how the personal arms of some rulers were sometimes used as the kingdom/state arms in other kingdoms as well.

Bosnian arms (of the land itself) were next:

These were used by the Hungarian-Croatian kings and also by the titular king of Bosnia Nikola Iločki after 1463.

And also:

I hope you also made arms of Slavonia and Istria. ;)

Here's a pretty cool site for you Finellach.

if you could release your Lions and griffons as Svg to be downloaded it would be great! :)

Long time no seen guys, just got back here. Brought my little project back to life a couple of days ago, currently remaking the sourceimages a bit though. I've decided to skip the "3d" effect and make all in simple 2d instead.

Here's a little preview...

Remember, these will be saved as .eps or .svg files.

And what about the project of new shields (ala EU3 mode) for EU2? It could be the perfect complement. :)

And same as cool-toxic: It's great to see you back here Birger!

Oh yeah, forgot about those, didn't know there still was a interest for them. :)
I'll see if I can get some work done on them this weekend.

Btw are you planning to do varients with and with out crowns plus Leopards? :)

I've promised I'll make coat of arms for European nations so there will be varoius shields and heraldic beasts, colors etc. Pretty much as on Heraldique Europeenne and Early Blazon. But with svg or eps files.
