The file SwordOfIslam.csv is there for everyone regardless of whether they have the DLC or not. One error in that file is enough to cause the total FUBAR.

Where you installed the game to, and in the folder named localization. If you have Steam, the folder will be Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\localisation
Hi, I`m Steam client and spanish, I bought SoI DLC and had the same problem. I changed that line you said and it didn`t work for me, the problem with spanish traduction remains the same.
Also now I can`t select any mod or dlc on the main menu, the white boxes are empty, and when I execute the game don`t recognize my dlc, all of them not only SoI, so I can`t play with any of my dlc and I have bought all of them.
You need to be sure you are only deleting that newline. If you don't know what this means or how to do it, I can only suggest waiting for the patch.
Come on... I know you're working on it but come on... why? Why didn't Paradox learn yet this lesson in the past years/games? Why is there always hundreds of NO_KEY_WORD_FRAK_YOU in the Spanish localization, regardless of this new patch which of course it's a mess? Why we do have a much less satisfaying game just for not being expert english speakers? And of course at the same price as english speakers.
Seriously, I love Paradox but this is too much... and I beg a lot for this to get it fixed asap, as I did in many other occasions... -_-

The same here. I've changed the line, only that line. And it still messes up.

On spanish forum someone has put the fixed archive so you can download it and play in spanish. You only have to change the file.

Guys, I finally have a solution to this problem.
IF YOU POLISH VERSION WITHOUT Sword Of Islam (and propably other language versions that have a mixed text problem):
just delete SwordOfIslam.csv. Thats it. Get rid of it, and all text is just FINE.
Its just so simple, I didnt think of it before. I was searching for a suitable solution for like 3 hours, tried everything else. I know that changing to english gets the job done, BUT i bought polish version and I just wanted so much to play what I paid for.

How is that a solution to this problem (Spanish translations messed up)? Not to mention that a solution to that was already posted in the first page of this very thread.
