Wait a second, somethings not right here... when has a paradox dev team ever cared about how many bugs and polish something has before they release it? Never. Makes me wonder how bad the upcoming DLC really is, cause paradox really doesn't mind releasing half baked, game breaking DLC's.

Not saying you are wrong (but I hope you are wrong ).

But the glass half full scenario is that Victoria 3 has less players than the other main PDX games, the launch was heavily problematic and first impressions were poor judging by the Steam reviews, this is the first paid DLC which has a substantial rework of diplomatic mechanics, and the Victoria games are always the most fiddly, most number-crunching simulations of all the Paradox games where small bugs and balance changes can lead to vastly different gameplay.

All of these reasons are good ones for extended QA.

I must also note that Paradox has added or at the least investigated additions to the scope of their patches based on user feedback which will always throw development schedules off track.

This almost coincided with postponement of Prison Architect 2 release. I really hope that's a deliberate change of PDX-wide policy after a string of problematic releases since at least 2022.

Seems like Paradox might finally be realising their current style of having a de-emphasis on quality assurance (including Skylines having it's QA completely outsourced) and this very long string of poor releases (Lamplighters League, Imperator, Victoria 3, Skylines 2, Trek Infinite).

Of course, the real determination will come when they start fixing their problems from the ground up, so they don't under-estimate the time required and don't go back to releasing games years early.

A suggestion re the Buildings Registry screen:- Any element of the GUI that changes building workforce requirements (eg increasing / decreasing the size of the building, or changing PMs), should have a mouse over tooltip reflecting the availability of the needed workforce in the province.

If this is absent you're going to have to dig through a load of screens to find out if you have enough laborers / engineers etc which will be a pain.

Hi,

I'm in holiday in Greece I should enjoy it but I still get upset because I don't understand why in a game based on economy I still doesn't see explanation from no one about why trade balance, payments balance and with world debt mechanism is not on the table :
