Can we link to other forums?

"7. {No External Links} You will not post a link to an external website or forum without prior approval of an Administrator. (Sites with no user interaction (that only host media are okay, as long as that media meets and obeys all other rules) You will not link to images on other websites unless you have authorization to do so (or the site is designed for that purpose). This kind of "hot linking" is stealing the bandwidth of the server you link from, and is not appreciated. You will not post material (including text, images, graphics or other artwork) unless the copyright is owned by you, and/or Paradox, and/or the material is not in violation of any NDA (non-disclosure agreement) that you may have signed, and/or you have the expressed permission of the copyright holder to do so, and/or you fully attribute the holder of the copyrighted material."

Maybe if you get permission?

Perhaps you should focus your efforts instead on convincing these modders to set up shop here on the subforum with the blessing of the AGOT team?

That could be possible only with the latest as a heap seem to be no longer active. Additionally, I do not want to infringe upon Citadel's forum; it is also, I think, against the nominal rules to encourage members of one forum to divide their time and go to another.

Splitting their efforts may lead to a decrease of contribution on their main forum, eventually damaging it in that manner.

Having said that, it's also precisely in that manner detrimental to the project, with people continuously encouraged to use Google to find out about the forum in order to download those mods or report bugs or similar.

P. S. I might ultimately start opening up threads on some of the major and more popular submods in order to popularize them (and submit additional information and reviews), though I do not know how would the creators respond to that.

That's a good idea. I think it's worth mentioning that your OP doesn't mention anything about the Citadel which is where most of these mods are found. You could perhaps mention the site without linking to it? Also, you could PM an administrator and try to get permission.

  • more decisions
  • supertechmarine
  • challenge to duel
  • armour and weapons
like do i need to put the mod file in the same ck2 mod folder or do they need to go into the GOF folder or coming

They go just as if separate mods and then they are chosen along with the AGOT mod in the Mods tab. Are you doing that correctly?

Also, are you using all of those four mods together? Most of the mods are incompatible with one another.

I've been doing a compatibility sheet. The old one is down since I never found the time to update it, but do intend to do so.

Out of the blue, you should know that all of blackninja's submods are intra-compatible, so that means you can freely use the More Decisions and Challenge to Duel together.

The other two modification you've been trying are in a very unfinished state (and possibly quite buggy) so I would not recommend trying them out together with any other mod. Both are actually very, very old mods that only recently got updated (or better said, there were attempts to update them) by totally new people (since they have been abandoned).
