Huh? I specifically altered the map proportions to not cut off the west. All that was lost was a small sliver of Iceland. I have to work within the map sizes/resolutions given to me by Paradox. If I could make a 5000 x 3000, I would. But, I cant. Therefore, I have ot fit my map data into the default map size as best I can.

No offence man. I mean adding 64 pixels to the west should work and then all of Iceland would be on it -.-

I thought the map could be whatever size you want, but there are only predefined sizes of the frame around the map, which can be disabled as you did anyway.

Thank you for the feedback. But Iceland is included, though partly cut off. I only moved the map east because tibet was going to be added which is a legit and important nation/region then and now. With that being said, Iceland was rather unimportant at the time. I'll update the map proportions again if there is a major change to the western Atlantic ocean. Outside of that, I think I'll keep the map as is. My apologies you you're upset that Iceland isn't wholly included - I think it's worth cutting off parts of Iceland for more asia.

Generally speaking, I am now done all the super-time consuming work and beginning work on city, unit, counselor and port locations.

Trying to be as accurate as possible.

I made a present day mod some time ago, based the map of Victoria 2. Never fully looked nice due to me upscaling the Vicky map etc.
Would you share some of your files with me to/and allow me to redo my present day setup on your map?

Getting Close to being finished with the positions file, finished everything but central and Eastern Europe and Sub-North Africa. It should be playable (in a Beta form) once the provinces file is done.

As a self-pat on the back, I am Super proud of the work done on the Morocco, Levant, Mesopotamia, Iran, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan (I feel most maps under appreciate those awesome regions :p)... I literally looked up every city and redrew the provinces to be as accurate as possible.

Some eye candy!

While you're probably done at this point a nice tool I used for my own edits is the 'my maps' tool for Google Maps. With that you can place your own markers and color code them (as in the majority of cases most the CK2 towns are still in existence).

Nothing critical, just fine-tuning - Clean up provinces/borders, add trees, update the minimap... stuff like that. But it would be playable and, in my opinion, already a significant upgrade to the current map.

Can't wait...:)
