So, i downloaded 1.1 and for me, all my old peeves (or almost) still exist.
So this is my wishlist for 1.2:
Doctrines: I cannot abandon doctrine trees. I am nailed to them. As Germany i will never have anything other than Navy-Military, the Convoy Interdiction and (i think) Block enemy ships- Doctrine. I cannot abandon them. Which means that even if i have carriers the British will still whip me three ways to sunday as will the Americans.
Same goes for the Land Doctrines. It is Truppenführung and Bewegungskrieg. Its the same for all other countries. The French are damned to reenact the Great War.
I would like it very much if i could decide that i would rather head a German Revolutionary Army formed by the SA rather than the Wehrmacht or plunged my French Armoured Spearhead into the soft underbelly of Germany.
Techtree as a whole: You still cannot tell what does what and 'Flechas only helps a little. I am also stll, even after consulting Flechas and the Editor, unsure how i get to Post War (it gives 'High Quality' as Prerequisite but goes black once you start researching Heavy Industry which is a prerequisite for, you guessed it, High Quality. Same goes for other 'Post-war' techs, f.e. Post War inf, which blacks out once you research its prerequisite Semi-Pro Inf.).
If somebody could find it in their hearts to redesign the layout i would also be obligated since, well, it is not really structured.
Map: Damn small Provinces. Worst examples are Paris, the whole southwest corner near London and Sunderland and sth. which are all so small you cannot select them once units are there.
AI: The AI does not really seem to 'get' the Map. From time to time there are gaps in its frontline that can be easily exploited to encircle and destroy 12+ units, this seems to be especially common on the British Isle and in Yugoslavia (The AI seems to be incapable to defend the ISles without leaving gaps once something reaches the labyrinth of small provinces southwest of London, it was also incapable to defend against other AIs).
Invasion-Events: Fall Gelb (?), anyway the attack on the Low Countris and Belgium likes to fire somewhere in 1941, after France has already fallen for a good 1 1/2 years.
Loss of 'X' sector: Does also fire when you create a puppet. Which is kinda unlogic if you considered that the event implies loss through combat.
