Mac OS - Legit Terrible Graphics (Dark brown surface w. no textures)

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Mac Book Pro running decent graphics chipset. Game looks terrible. Terrain is near-black with no differentiation between e.g. concrete and the rest of mars... nothing is red! Also everything "glows" way too brightly. I disabled the "bloom" setting which helped a bit, but it's still nearly impossible to differentiate anything in detail (e.g. different storage sites) unless you zoom all the way in. I got as far as building my first dome and gave up (in a big huff)! There was no green, no roads, just chocolate mars surface inside a pretty glass dome. Very disappointed in my first playthrough - I paid double-extra for the super-premo pack and can't even do the basics. Did you test it on a Mac? See attached pic of a concrete extractor taken sol midday. It's all black! Where's the terrain differentiation?

Can you replicate the issue?

I don't think so. The game's published minimum requirements are:

• [*]OS: OSX 10.11 or newer
  
  [*]Processor: 4th Generation Intel i3 CPU or equivalent
  
  [*]Memory: 4 GB RAM
  
  [*]Graphics: OpenGL 4.1 (GeForce 600/AMD Radeon 5000 or higher) with 1GB of video RAM

If you don't have access to hardware that meets those, I can only suggest getting a refund from wherever you bought the game.

Hi - I'm no expert on computers but have a MacBook Pro, mid 2012 with following spec:

2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
10 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

From what I have read I can only assume that I am wasting my time even thinking about downloading this game - can someone confirm that please?

You can buy and try it, and get your money back if no good as long as you don't exceed that vendor's refund policy.

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS 10.11.6, 3.7 Quad Core Intel Xeon E5, 64 GB 1866MHz DDR3, AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB

Still have the digital pixilated ground problem. Have turned off Steam overlays. I have access to 3 different macs and this game still does not run without massive graphical errors on any of them.
I understand that this game is working for some mac users now, but is there any ETA on a fix for the rest of us?

It should be fixed with current game patches if you also update to MacOS 10.13.4; even 10.12.6 ought to be OK I think.
