I've watched your replay quickly, first thing i'd point out is looking at your decks your teammates do not have one hummel card to counter long range artillery in phase C. You canno't have one with the 352nd but both the 12SS and the 116th can do something about long range arty and hummel is deadly when it hits. It may engage a long range fight with sextons or other allied arty.
Then they should have and bring the Wespe in phase B to counter battery as quickly as possible.

Second thing i've noticed, from the very beginning, your first push starts with no arty support at all, hence you don't push with smoke or arty fire and your troops surrender very quickly once hit by arty and the enemy infantry moving. If not at the begining, a good thing is to bring one of your fk18 soon enough to counter battery his arty. Or planes to bomb. I find you did it a bit late to bring any arty at all. And you don't bring planes at all neither. Then you bring arty and arty and arty, like sk18 is magic to kill troops then planes but at the very end when all is finished.

Third thing, you don't fall back your troops when hit, or at least not quickly enough. And keeping them not moving and hidden is pointless if you let your opponent place his recon to see your hidden troops.

And mostly you do not try to push this orchard in front of you where are these mortars, your infantry sits in their first positions along the game waiting to be killed. When you have this much mortars in front of you, your opponent has less infantry to oppose you, it is mathematics. Indeed, your teammate Heinrich pushes your orchard with one panzergrenadier around the beginning oh phase B and not you, was a bit weird. Then you should have moved your mg to support Heinrich in your right and bring way more infantry.
You are the heavy infantry deck, you should do the infantry pushes in the center, not your teammates. Plus, your two fk18 fire a long time with no results in area fire, you have to manage them and pick other targets, not forget them too long.

You should really bring more panzergrenadiers or ostruppen and push in line, not play that much defensively.
You have let your opponent build and not doing any pressure to him, he punished you.
Push with infantry, command infantry and ig18, it is deadly.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Games should make fun and be competetive.

If my enemy is spaming arty nearly every fuck game it´s no fun and not competetive because he is shooting my units to pieces without any possibility to counter. And even if I bring counter it´s nearly useless, 3 SK18 that are not able to even pin the enemy arty while he hits nearly everytime? WTF??

3 SK18's and you can't hit enemy arty? Must be a learn to play issue, using just one SK18 I can completely annihilate AT/AA guns and enemy arty, that thing has amazing accuracy

the problem with 2ID and arty spam is really their availability. 3 X 105mm in phase B and 6 x in phase C is a crap load. (9 in total with two slots)

By comparison the british generally cap out at 2 x with the weaker 25 pounder or sexton. The Notable exception with british style div is the poles with a 3x sexton card at phase C.

If you want to play with less artillery, you should consider playing on larger map sizes. That would be a better solution to your problem with the game rather than trying to counter the artillery ingame, which you apparently don't even enjoy. When you are playing 3v3 with the 2v2-3v3 size, the only maps that are really wide enough for 6 players are Cote and Colombelles. Since players have to cover more ground, artillery becomes less effective compared to direct fire.

No excuse for 2nd ID to crush 352. 107 mortars? You have 120. 105s? You have sk18s. Bringing out a 105 is suicide because it'll get counter barraged. The only thing they have is good jack of all trades infantry and rangers/60mm mortars to push you early.

You also have nebels to screw that up.

Arty spam divisions are usually easily routed, or get very little ground. So just get a lot of ground early and then hold/hide all game. You'll ultimately have more land points- doesn't matter the K/D as Arty spam divisions are very defensive focused. If you absolutely must attack, a well mounted tank assault or planes is usually the best answer.

Infantry assault by the 352. is not very good to attack well fortified positions, your main option is to artillery bombard until they are weakened then rush. If you like infantry play that can do things on their own with less Artillery focus I suggest you play Airborne divisions.

The only thing that can keep german divisions in the game are arties. Bu they usually dont anyway.

Besides 2nd inf and 6 ab will outarty you easy and arti arent exclusive to the axis (did you know?).

I loved the game but I can´t take this shit no more, I will play anything else, even tetris is more fun than this skillless spam crap.

The announcment that you bring even more arty in this game with the dlc is laughable, "Use the new aerial artillery observer to spot your enemy and unleash hell on his units.". Wtf? If already now 6-9 artys spaming my units to death it´s not enough??

One guys I´m playing with said I should tell you that you will loose a lot more players if you make this garbage even worse with the dlc.

Fuck off, I´m out, another game that´s completly broken in terms of balance and game mechanics. Bring out an DLC where you can play games only without arty and I would pay 100 Euro for it.

Edit: I reinstall, we came up with the idea to play only axis vs axis and hope that there are not so many retarded arty apes.

So after watching your replay:

1. The guy who started the shelling was YOU so on that Point i cant get ur rage.

2. After your mate Heinrich lost his insuccsesful rush (no one supported the rush with inf. to take and hold that ground) the enemy pushed him back incl. he lost all his attacking force! (verry expensive)

3. After the enemy had succesful regained their ground you and your mate couldn´t do anything because of lack of Units that you lost in that rush, a shortyl stalemate was in the air but nor for Long. The enemy brought in 2 Rocketlaunchers and 2 Sextons you had more arty on the field as they had, so can´t get your rage in that Point of view.

4. You did not enough pressure on the enemy when you were in advance (more inf. moving up etc.) When you give your enemy time to recover than don´t be surprised he will start shelling you because he got bored, so Keep up the pressure and the enemy will not have time to get bored and buy stuff that could be a pain in the ass!

After i was reading your post i was expecting at least 6 or more Artillery pieces on the enemy side but it wasn´t so everything was fine then only thing what went wrong was your strategy rushing is one thing but holding the ground and making an Advantage from it thats another thing.

Depends which divisions you're talking about.
The worse thing for german armor divisions are phase A infantry rushes.
Arty doesn't do shit overall against armor and a good german armor player will always push your lines, even if he looses one or two panzers in the process.
That said, the worse thing in the game is probly to let people build their strenghts. A common mistake is to sit on a +1 to avoid loosing units.

What gets me sometimes is that I can be to aggressive. I hate sitting and waiting for other players to react. I like to dictate what is going to happen and sometimes I attack lines that are defended well...aka I get rekt. :p

Recon is always the way, then limit the angles you may be attacked when you push (the frontal push isn't always the good one to do), a good use of smoke may define your failure or success too. And in the end, one common error of players is to put themselves in the next threeline, you have to stay just behind it, let the player come to reclaim what he has lost.

Yes that is true. I have to micro manage units near treelines and hit 'N' so they do not automatically go into cover.

Try the 17., Scots, and Canadiens. They support that playstyle very well.
