We are all missing of the awesome magnitude that is @stnylan and in many respects, my efforts here are an (admittedly less than) attempt to give back to the forum what he has done for many, many years. He is missed from our ranks at the moment and you are thanked for an excellent ballot. I thank you and so do all others, I am certain.

I notionally organised it and would not wish to be so uncouth as to vote for myself, but all the best writing in it was from others (@DensleyBlair's work on Vicomte de la Roche Saint-Michel and his Travels in the Land of the Greeks remains excellent in all respects). A ruling from @coz1 on this point would be appreciated if it is not too much bother.

In any event I have done my bit and posted in KFM to exhort people to come out and vote, it may make precious little difference but at least I have tried.
