Among the biggest complaints thus far are as follows

1: There is no Continue button at the end of missions (As in Majesty 1)
2: There is no Free Play mode (Even absent of a Random Map Generator, large open Free Play mode maps are doable, with selectable starting positions, selectable lair themes, and wandering/invading monster themes)
3: Buildings can not be demolished (I'm aware of the exploit, charging a demolition fee would negate the use of the exploit)
4: Buildings can not be removed from the repair/tax cycle (This was a feature in Majesty 1).
5: When there are more heroes than can be displayed in the Gather Party window it snaps back to the first two rows when you try to scrolling through them.
6: Multiplayer Chat is far too limited.
7: Multiplayer maps are too small and uninteresting.
8: Multiplayer Game modes are far too limited, many want co-op freeplay modes
9: In some Multi Player modes, players should be neutral unless tagged with a reward flag.

Failing to address these concerns will reflect badly on the developers and hurt consumer confidence in Paradox, addressing them will increase customer loyalty and increase customer satisfaction.

Sadly I doubt this will be read, as it is far from the front page and will be lost in a sea of side discussions.

I have something that should be changed with hero AI:
I hate how heroes just run right past one of the other heroes fighting to get to a flag. The one fighting could have 3 mobs on him and the other hero just doesn't care. It really shouldn't be like that...

Fear flags disappear after a while for no good reason.

The Fear flags are already of questionable use and would be so much better if they stayed there till the player decided to remove them.

Aping some of the threads in the general forum, I'd like a little more differentiation in heroes' personalities. I don't know if we need separate buildings where mages can study, for example, but I want my rangers collecting herbs, thieves getting into trouble, wizards studying or being lazy, etc, etc.

Also, doing this for some of the monsters, who all seem to act 100% the same would add a lot more character to the game.

Yes, monsters need personalities too. It would be fun if a different kind of monsters would attack each other if they meet (eg, vampire would attack werewolf or bearmen). Ratman try to rob the marketplace and scurry back.

I updated with the fear flags thing and with the lower resoluton thing.

ValentineHeart: as Mattias Lilja said they monitored your long post and most of it is in the list but some things (like the problem with lord system after the last mission) are bugs instead of missing features I think. But it doesn't really matter because your list was monitored by publishers :)

Again: I won't update the OP with AI related things. Somebody should make a topic for that if you thing but I am sure that developers know about AI problems because there is minimum 1 post about it in every topics and I am sure that dev/publisher monitors all of the content of this topic and not only the original post.

Everything valentineheart said, that man is right on the money.

My two cents- why no Giant spiders, gorgons, the entire ARMY of ratmen not just one with a pipe as a weapon, shadow beasts, druids, DEMONWOOD(one of my favs!), rust spitters, etc etc etc. most importantly to me, there a TON of goblin race files in this game, yet no goblins? that was MANY peoples favorite horde mode, hell i even suggested in the xpac to make it so we can choose to play as a northern kingdom of orcs, goblins, and trolls or humans, elves, and dwarves. (that would make me bust a nut if you all did that!)

Basically this game (besides bug fixes) needs 3 things to be nigh PERFECT

Keep playing after winning. (but pick your lord at day of win?)
ANY sort of skirmish or freeplay mode
More SIM less "competitive rts", and all the old monsters!

No orcs. Lack of that overplayed Tolkeinism is one of the things that made Majesty unique. Have some goblins be larger than others, but let them still be goblins.

As for Ratmen... the priests, shamans, and ratapults only appeared in the Northern Expanion, so Majesty 2 just hasn't reached that point in its development cycle yet.

Everything valentineheart said, that man is right on the money... *very respectful snip* ...most importantly to me, there a TON of goblin race files in this game, yet no goblins? that was MANY peoples favorite horde mode

Thank you very much. I can tell you I used to love to play Majesty in Freeplay Mode on the large Goblin Fort map with Goblin Attack, Goblin War Parties, and Cannon Fodder set.

Keep playing after winning. (but pick your lord at day of win?)

Definately! Take notes Devs, this is a must! Please put this in with a patch ASAP!

Fear flag would also be far useful if it can be set on monsters.

Don't despair! ;-) We continue to check this thread for excellent feedback.

Hello Mattias,

This is great to hear, I appreciate you taking the time to let the community know that you're listening and forwarding items on. However (You knew there was a 'however' coming, didn't you :p), what's disappointing to me is the lack of communication back from the developer. What are they looking at changing? What is beyond the scope of what can be done? Knowing those types of things would be fantastic.

I know that there's a language barrier between an English forum and a Russian developer, and I've heard that they're more communicative over there, but if Paradox could function as a middleman between the two and facilitate communication back to the community, I think that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, monsters need personalities too. It would be fun if a different kind of monsters would attack each other if they meet (eg, vampire would attack werewolf or bearmen). Ratman try to rob the marketplace and scurry back.

This is a good idea. While I wouldn't want this all the time (It would make the game too easy) I would like to see a quest or two built around it, like the quest from Majesty where goblins and ratmen were at war with each other. It could also be fun to add the feature as a multiplayer option and a freestyle option if one is implemented.

@goodgimp: I kind of sensed that "however" coming. ;)

As you might imgine we are busy working on a patch with the devs. We have made sure that they know all the reported bugs and irks of the game.

I'll have to get back to you guys as to what exactly will be fixed with the first patch.
