The dangers of plot cannot be overstated, I just hope more of the readership realise this before demanding it advance.

Plot is very dangerous to writers.

Given some of the armoured cars that got produced in OTL, standard commercial vehicles that were more told about the idea of armour than actually armoured, this seems somewhat reasonable. Rest assured all of the vehicles competing in the armoured car trials will be suitably armoured, they just might not be suitable for the job or even cars.

Well, considering some of the 'tank' designs from some European countries are actually armored cars...it's not such a huge stretch to think that a mere car with doors would be considered armored.

Possibly. I kind of lost track of the actual in game date to be honest. It isn’t that relevant to the enjoyment of the beautiful obscure detail.

And here I was, reading that a mid page update might occur (the horror!) only to see the community rally (hooray!), and then have those hopes dashed from other motivated posters....

It could be worse...there could be no replies ever and then El Pip would be stuck until the dam of his inspiration forced the story out not at the top of the page...you know, like most normal authors...
