I'll vote for the naval update as (a) alt-FAA stuff is always fun and (b) quite curious about what you'll come up with for a BC design, especially since I tend to think the RN had it right historically i.e. nothing new between a light cruiser and a battleship. :D

One vote for option Two ;)

Also, it's nice to see the US get involved on the right side for once - hopefully this will balance out Britain and Germany some more...

Now all you have to do is to start barracking for St Kilda.

Alexus - I have no need to justify my dislike of Wilkie, it is pure and irrational and so need not be explained by such irrelevancies as so called facts.

DonnieBaseball - The problem with the RN's OTL building programme was the lack of quick powerful ships to counter the Germans. Hood, Renown and Repulse were the only heavy units with chance of catching an Admiral Hiper or a Scharnhorst. Even then the latter were faster and could (and did) evade battle when it didn't suit them.

This time round though the RN has the spare resources to give that problem the attention it deserves. :D

Le Jones - It would be appropriate I agree. Though I hope I can get the update done in less than a month, but no promises.

GeneralHannibal - There's a big gap between "you can sell stuff" and being involved. Though I suspect France will be making heroic efforts to close it while Britain tries to widen it.

truth is life - Duly noted.

Jalex - What a polite request, how pleasant. :)

Agamemnon_1781 - I can guarantee their will be a naval porn update, just not when.

Sir Humphrey - That does indeed appear to be out of character. Have you checked for other symptoms? Do you still lust for train porn for instance? If not then it could be a serious problem!

Bafflegab - The rules worked well for the US election so why not here? Though I can re-assure you the polls will be open for a far shorter period of time!

Duritz - If it's any consolation there will be tank porn, just at this rate it won't be for a couple of updates. :(

C&D - I second this confusion, what is the dark side of this AAR and is it a good thing?

Davout - Dury has found a far big bunch of losers to back, he's a Labour party supporter.

caffran - And with that vote you push us to a tie-break!

Tanks and Trucks - II Votes
Schisms and Scheming - VII Votes
Battle-cruisers and Dive Bombers - VII Votes

I'm off on nights Thursday/Friday so those will be my writing days, I was going to close the vote now but one can hardly do that when it's tied. Voting closes early Thursday morning (i.e. when I log on to check before I start writing)

Given my preference for politics over boat-porn, I'm going to have to vote for the scheming :p

Firstly, only soft Hunts play AFL (a prize for the person who reveals the story behind that statement). I follow South Sydney! :(

Secondly, :p to your Labor party bashing El Pip old boy! Kevin Rudd just single handedly saved the world from Depression. Show some respect to the little toe rag and his band of factional hacks! :)

Thirdly, tank porn! :D

Duritz.

Buzzing along in his "Flying Greenhouse"

(Which should have been what they called all Hawker Hurricanes) :p

Flight Sergeant RAFSpeak couldn't help but notice the lack of Fleet Air Arm new types up there with him. Sure he'd heard a lot of talk about new dive bombers and so on, but where were they?

One more vote for big, harder-to-hit floaty things, and Aircraft porn! :D

Arilou - Shock! Horror! Absence of surprise!

DonnieBaseball - While it would be better for the RN to go all carrier I don't think it's that feasible at the moment. The Admiralty will need a fair bit of convincing before they completely abandon the battleship.

Duritz - Ahh so it's a Labour thing to lie about saving the world. Our incompetent Labour leader is claiming the same thing, they can't both have single handedly saved the world so at least one of them is lying. My guess, of course, is that they're both lying. :D

Nice to see your still allowed on the internet though, guess you must have sneaked past the great firewall. But how long till Paradox is declared an undesirable website and banned by Rudd's internet filter?

RAFspeak - It will either be this update or the next one, unless tanks can stage an incredible comeback!

Tanks and Trucks - III Votes
Schisms and Scheming - VIII Votes
Battle-cruisers and Dive Bombers - IX Votes

A narrow lead for naval and airframe porn, but can tanks stage the greatest comeback since Lazarus and keep Dury happy?

Completely abandoning the BB that Britain pioneered back in the day would be heresy. I vote that at least five are retained Iowa-Class style.

I have seen El Pip dislike Willkie in two different AARs, so it is a dislike that knows no bounds.

I am going to cast a this-is-for-Dury vote for Tanks and Trucks.
