I was thinking abou Europe Russia and I have got this idea:

Red country is Kuban and green one is Ural (I do not know better name). Between Russia Ural and germany is puppet state of Russia. There is Ukraine. I have two questions:
1. Should I give Odessa to Romania;
2. Is this good idea?
 
Well, in my opinion, giving Germany puppets made out of bits of European Russia is a little... iffy. They wanted Eastern Europe as Lebensraum to 'colonize', they would`ve ruled it probably as an extension of Germany rather than as a series of puppets. The Second Reich, ie, the one under the Kaiser, would`ve gone with that, as they really more wanted to keep client states and vassals like that, but the Third Reich would`ve most probably annexed everything upto the Urals, Hitler did state quite a few times that that is what was needed to be done to make Germany a dominant global power.

Germany in this map got a lot of land in Russia.
 
Right, i think at least Ukraine should be controlled by Germany. You maybee know about Hitlers plans to use it as the "Kornkammer der Wehrmacht" (English: Granary of the Wehrmacht)
Ukraine should be divided between Germany and Kuban:
All provinces western of the Boguchar-Kamensk Shakhtinski - Rostov- Line to Germany, the other Ukrainian Provinces (including the three) to Kuban
The Rest is quite okay, Russia and Ural as buffer states against Soviet Union under German protection....

And i think giving Odessa to Romania is okay as well.

By the way: The Infantry-Techtree Implementation looks very nice. As promised, i´ll finish land doctrines (hopefully) tomorrow.

i thought ur asian map was very good, i hate in HOI after BP you get all this land, germany wanted lebesraum, and lesser lebensraum, witch in my oppinion should be in the form of puppets, i think ukraine should stay, like crimea going to germany, it seems to be very close to EmKeiEn bp events :D wich are my favourite
 
Black Guardian, I have two questions about Guns & Brigade tech tree.
1. Tank regiments - there are not Tank regiments in vanila DD. Do you think about Heavy tanks or about semetning else?
2. SP Anti-Tank - there is not SP anti-tank in vanila DD.

there is SP AT - you may know them as tank destroyers, but they are called SP AT an example is the wespe or the bishop ... :)

1.) You are right, i think about smaller groups of tank which has the task to support the divisions -> heavy tank brigade. 2
2.) SP Anti Tank is better known as Tank Destroyer ;)



I finished the pre-alpha-version of the land doctrines. Almost all effects are included, except the HQ-upgrades (i´ll add them when the unit models are done).

Will be added in a later game version. I´ll need some playtesting and balancing to decide which effects it could have. And more important: That those effects are only effective after a Day of Doom and only until the damage is repaired and a normal war is possible.

For example: I could add a Wasteland-Fighter Division (Cavalry isn´t used yet) having fast land speed (infrastructure will be really low after nuclear strikes), high air defense, low supply consumption (to prevent TC-overload), high organization.
The disadvantages:
Lower Combat-Values than other land divisions.
I don´t want to have a super-fast, high organized and supply sparing unit with high combat-values driving around when the damages of the nuclear war are repaired (this will take time, but they WILL be repared)!

In a fight against normal divisions who aren´t situated in wasteland they should lose. That´s a difficult question of balancing, that´s why i would like to include it later.
First let´s do the rest of the techtree and the unit values.

All the nuclear weaponry should be put in the secret weapon techtree. Furthermore things like UAV and other early robot technologies. Modern Rocketry Technologies, Laser- and Sonic Weapons... Third Reich had a lot of secret weapon researches, maybee such projects could inspire us as well?

Concerning the Industrial techtree we could use things like industrial robot systems, modern assembly methods, Medicines & Public health (increase of manpower), all the electronics & computing tech as well as the intelligence-stuff. Furthermore i thought of a research-branch for nuclear bunkers, underground-factories & underground-cities to survive a nuclear war.

As you can see, i turned my painting skills to "fast work" instead of "intensive drawing" ;)

Industry-Path should give increase your total IC, and some techs (the industrial Robots) should decrease the building time of your units...

Agriculture-Technologies could decrease the consumer-goods that are needed (so you can spend more IC to upgrade your military.), furthermore a small increase of Supply-Production-Efficiency.

The Manpower-Growth-Modificator is the effect i would use for the medical research-branch.

Encryption/Decryption -Effects should be self-explaining...

Computer Techs are needed to research them, furthermore they could increase your research-speed. (as calculating machines did in HoI 2)

Early Nuclear Bunkers have no effect, but they are needed to research the Subsurface-Buildings.
Subsurface Storages increases your offmap-supply-production (if a massive nuclear strike is launched, your Industry will not be able to supply all the troops. So there are nuclear-safe Storages which may help.)
Subsurface Factories will increase your offmap-IC (will help to survive nuclear wars)

I have no idea about the effects of nuclear-save barracks...

but of course subsurface cities increases your offmap-Manpower-growth... Or better further Industrial Capacity? Don´t know...
