The version 4.1 should be the last before a long time, unless some real problems appear during play.

So I need your comments after you have played one game, especially about technical and balance problems. In such case, I will do a new version.

Please post your remarks in this tread.

I will reply to anyone talking after have played Real EU; if you don't understand why I make a distinction between this and someone raising hypothetical problems about something he didn't tried and giving false statement about AI behaviour to someone who has spent his time these last weeks to edit savegame files, you will just confirm me I was right in my decision to ignore you.

:p

Stop claiming to be the all knowledgeable source about my actions. U haven't got a clue.

I tried ur program extensively first of all. 2nd of all I don't see why hypothetical questions shouldn't be posed, they can prove either useless or very useful.

False statements about AI ? I copied those things right from my savefile, unaltered. So, unless ur program is false, I am actually correct

I also have been scouring save games these last few weeks. Stop trying to tell me what I have supposedly done.

Just for the record, if u reply to me as u did, u aren't ignoring me :D

Stop lying. That's what it is really.

Hi, one thing I saw when I tested the Naval and Land files was an "strange thing" in tech advance.

My own experience in setting's for them (and Trade,Infra) is that an techdate before 1493 can't be used if they start on a techlevel who has a "startyear" before 1493.

An startlevel (on tech) before 1493 and techlevel 0 gives an -cost (bonus) so Russia started with ca 5000D in bonus and reached level 5 in Naval tech in 5 month when I tested thoose files in a scenario.

I'm not sure if this depend's on that I used my own setting's on other thing's (to lazy to change all files) but take a look at it as Russia (and Austria) for example.

I have tested to have same startyear for different level's and then the "next level" had a cost of 0D, so the year's look's to be used as an multiple vs. an base cost (each year look's to have an value of ca 500D (Land)) by the engine.

2 points: i didn't noticed any problem in Real EU due to dates before 1493: in 1516 russia is at tech level 3, Austria 5 , spain and france to 6, minor between 3 and 6... So even if the treasury is raised ( but how much AI add to treasury from monthly revenues?), effects on game are for now inexistent. All game I started follow with some variations, sometimes reallyimportant a pattern close to history until 1520... After, it's another story.

second, tech level 0 is reserved both toAztech and Inca , even if they start at level 1, during the game they are at level 0 without any hope to reach again level 1. So never give level 0 to any other nations in the scenario file.
