I noticed there's a 1950 start now. Is that playtested? Can we start a MP game of it?
That's part of the NWO mod which was incorporated into TGC. along with AIO I don't think it's recommended as a start, but I've also never played the mod from any of its start dates other than 1914.I noticed there's a 1950 start now. Is that playtested? Can we start a MP game of it?
Yeah, only 1914 is recommended for TGC.That's part of the NWO mod which was incorporated into TGC. along with AIO I don't think it's recommended as a start, but I've also never played the mod from any of its start dates other than 1914.
It's already solvedGood morning, I have a question and I don't know how to solve it. Let's see if I can explain it correctly and make it understood.
I'm trying to create a new special forces unit. The division_types file reaches d_20, however I have checked when I created d_21, modifying all the corresponding files to be able to create it when developing a specific technology, when loading the game the name of a German division appears, changing the name that I I click on my unit, both in the technology tab and in the production tab and the images (skiff and a pic) of my unit created in the production tab do not appear.
I have managed to locate in the "mods" file within the "config" folder, that the references of that German unit are collected there, as well as many others that range from d_21 to d_43 and whose files where they are described are in the file Winrar "divisions" that are in the "db/units" folder.
I think that these units are activated by some Event and that is why the "division_types" file does not appear.
The fact is that I have tried to activate my unit by adding the new special forces unit into winrar, calling it d_44 and modifying the "tech" file so that it is activated when developing the corresponding technology and adding the references of my unit to the "mods" file. new unit.
Now when I load the game, in the technology tab the name appears correctly without the name of the German unit appearing, but it appears next to the word "null" and the unit does not appear in the production tab so I can produce it.
I don't know how to activate it in the production tab.
I hope I have explained myself well and that someone knows the solution. Thank you very much in advance.
awesome, thank you!
Inside the folder for the mod, there's this file: config\buttons.txtCan you change the space key to another one to pause the game?
The thing is that when I try to rename the divisions it doesn't let me put space between the words since when I press the space key the game is activated or paused.
Thank you so much.Inside the folder for the mod, there's this file: config\buttons.txt
press = {
id = "BUTTON_PAUSE"
bitmap = "empty.bmp"
background = "pause_button.bmp"
shortcut = "space"
lower = "BUTTON_0050"
upper = ""
}
Remove the line [shortcut = "space"]
You're welcome, I also hate using space as pause.Thank you so much.
Other than playing as GER I don´t think so. You have to smash some Russian armies first, but you should not advance too quickly. Transfer some of your troops to the west and try to gain some ground. Again, don´t push too far. Around 1917 advance into Russia until the revolution starts. Then wait until Nov 1918 when an event will fire that GER has asked for a cease fire.is there any secret to getting WW1 to work out historically?
I deleted the old folder of TGC and put new as new file, whitout overwriting.The new version saved as 'TGC 2.1'. Did you delete the old folder? 'The grand Campaign?'
