Thanks alot!

I'll try to get to the COT problem, It's certainly there!

I need more revolters in americas, africa, india, and SE asia. Names and Locations would be appreciated, if anyone has some!

mAybe this site helps you a lot with American cultures: http://www.kstrom.net/isk/maps/cultmap.html

Okay, here is a list of the Native American Tribes I am adding; these are the the language families off the above website. I understand, of course, that we have no idea when these indian groups actually reached the area, but we need some revolters!
Algonquin
Iroqouis
Aleut
Inuit
Penute
Wakashan
Sioux
Muskogee
Caddo
Athapasca
Ute

This is a good list so far, are there also some south-Americans within them???

And off course you need two additional cot, one in south and another in north America.

Ehh.... ain't it better to leave out the America's altogheter??? saves a lot of trouble and I suppose there was no one ATF.

The site only covered north of Mexico.
I may add random COT-giving events, but already one always opens in Mexico, and South America was not even colonized by 1650 in my hands-off game. What there really needs to be is more in the Middle east, like there really was. That will get rid of the monster 1000$ plus COT's that show up. I had one game where the one in Minoa reached 1300! I don't know what makes one defeat the others in any given game.

The Americas were colonized early after the flood, though no major cultures really grew very early. The Olmec, Nazca, and Adena cultures are in the end of the time span covered in this game. The problem is that usually only one or two nations colonize the new world, so it gives those nations an immense advantage in wealth. In my last game, only China and Olmec colonized. CHina was 1000 VP's ahead by the end.... I also need other nations in east Asia!

What is the precise time-span of the game....

Maybe Angkor is something for SE-asia, look up for more this evening.

The time span is ~2600 BC to 1000 BC, with a game year equaling 4 historical years

The game moves fast so this represents it very good.

I did some research at home on the Polynesians.
They did inhabit the entire Indonesian/Australia/New Zeeland area but not the islands and hawaii.

Where I talked about yesterday was the 'Chinese invasion" which started in 3000BC from the Chinese mainland. First it was Taiwan which became settled then the Phillipines in 2500BC, next java and The moluks and Sulawesi in 2200 BC then Java and bali in 2000BC and the coastal New guinea and Sumatra in 1600 BC.
During the same period 2500-2000 BC in the South East of Asia the Laotans and Thais where overran by the Chinese.

The rest of Polynesia was taken by the Polynesians from 1500 BC till 500 AD and Madagaskar was settled only at 500 AD. (so not for the ATF game)

This will make some nice events as the Polynesians whom come first have to move on when the Chinese come,

Next to this I found out some stuff about Africa but sadly left it at my desk at home.

It was about Khoi-san/ bantoe and Pygmees.

Will come later, hope you can work with the info stated above.

What about the Aboriginese? Also, what peoples do you have then in SE asia before the Chinese moved in? Laotians and Thais.... Anyone else? I have right now Ban Chiang as the only Indochinese nation. Where were the Polynesians originally? Indonesia, then? What about the Melanesians, the other race that inhabits the Pacific. They are more the North Western stretches, including New Guinea, right now... I read at http://www.vwam.com/vets/vietnam.html that the Viet originally inhabited Southern China, and moved south around 1500 BC

That where a lot of questions,

aboriginese, where for me the same as polynesians (but off course they are not , I just left them out as I did with the maori)

About SE-asia i do not know a thing except for the Laotians and Thais.....
The polynesians wher in Indonesia and when the Chinese invaded they where pushed to the east and all other polynesian islands (would make for som Mughal-like events)

I think those Melanesians are part of the Chinese invasion and so are the Viet....

Played some ATF again yesterday....

~ The Sabines have a wrong religion... The entire area boosts European soldiers and cities while they have African soldiers cities.
Looks a bit wierd.

Next to this i have to congratulate you on the opening and menu screens and all the shields.

When will we see a new updated file?

The religions I chose are fairly random and can be altered easily. The religions do not change the sprites, though. The sprites for the Sabines (who use Xhosa's tag) I will edit in Country.csv. There... did it. The shields are Kaigon's--- I haven't included the Independent Europe shields in the download yet, though I have permission to. Updated file... Sometime or another. See my site for the latest download, but it's not a new version yet.

Here are more nations I think I will add. Do they all look good?
Polynesian
Aboriginese
Thai
Viet
Laotian
Maori
Melanesian
Toltec
Aztek
Teotihuacan
Caral
Chavin
Nazca
Moche

The Aztek or Aztec would be a small tribe in North Mexico at this time, perhaps. After Teotihuacan, the rest are Andean Cultures. Moche and Nazca are a little late for this time period, but could have developed earlier.

Maybe some cohesion on this point might be nice, altough it is not very important.

The new coutries you stated are good. If you have no room left you can merge those two togheter. The Maori and Aboriginals where very much the same.

That's a great idea carry on the good work!!!

Okay, I have added the various nations, and fixed all the problems with revolt.txt which caused numerous crashes. The updated version should be up this week some time.

Next up:
Random prophets
Random the people turn away from God
Random If owned any in an area, all of your provinces in that area turn to the culture that should be there.
Not random nation setup events for the new nations added
Not random the Israel event series (now that will be neat!! )
Not random the vassal events: Unrest in an area: 1. Free all vassals and lose VP 2. Move and become that nation and free all vassals 3. Fight it out (ouch!). One of those for each nation. Only 80 to go  . It just takes a while
Not random a few historical events

And then the scenario will be done.
So it is rather unfinished right now, but plays pretty well for me. I will get up the latest version, with the following additions, this week:
20 new nations
Reworked new text.csv
Religion graphics
(Finally) a bug-free revolt.txt

This is a lot of work, you know?
:p
