In my current game, there's a whole new Sweden sprung up in the middle of Europe - Sweden got a couple of provinces off Austria, which allowed it to later annex Bohemia. Then a couple more off Turkey.

Austria is nowhere, so Sweden Mk II is now the dominant central European power...

Not that unusual for an AI nation to colonise that area-I've seen English, Venetian, Genoese, Papal, Danish-you name it, I've seen it in those provinces. Fortunately they're normally trade posts that the Russians or the Persians etc. burn out.

I saw France atacking me so many times and when she had 2 of my provincies which were actualy theirs,Champagne and Bourgogne they offered me 250D in order to make peace.Strange huh?or was the fact of that regions were producers of wine?must be the wine...

im spain, and have colonies everywhere, i guess the ai ran out of names, cuz i just noticed one of the cities is named "Nova the Canary Islands" in the province of sebago in NA. i gave it to england in one of my BB wars, since its only lev 2, i only get 2 col/yr, and oonce england builds it to a real city, ill take it back. i wonder if they'll rename it NewCanary islands?

Please explain:
France and Portugal are at war with Poland.
Then the alliance falls apart as Portugal dishonours the alliance in another war, even as he France/Portugal vs Poland War continues.
Portugal joins Spain and then goes to war with them when Spain DoWs France.
So current wars:
France/Portugal vs Poland
France vs Spain/Portugal
(and France vs Holland)

So observe the provinces of Lorraiane and Cologne.
Cologne: the Dutch are seiging thew French province (owned and controlled), while the Portugese army just stands watching.
Lorraine: While one French army is storming the castle (French owned, Portugese controlled), another is just watching.....

These oddities are what makes EU such a great game. You never know what will happen in your game.

In our MP with Zsolo and Attila the Hun, Zsolo played Spain, Attila England and me Turkey. In the first English-Spanish (Turkey stayed neutral) war the spanish governement fell and Spain went Protestant, they got 4-5 (or more) colonists a year. In the second English-Spanish war Spain was almost beat England when the holy moslim warriors arrived at the iberian peninsula. The result: the spanish governement fell Spain went catholic, and Turkey got 6 provincies from Spain (Andalusia, Gibraltar, etc).

In another MP the Papal State annexed Navarra, after that Navarra revolted and the revolt went on for 30 years until now we will play on thursday
