Never seen this before.

William forced Harold to surrender, then Harald went on to conquer England away from William.

Basically.

Should be an "Invincible" nickname for such feat XD

Look at that Nubia! Have a cookie, good sir, if you made that from Ethiopia or the other one.

Okay, I am pretty confused. I'm going to post a few screenshots here and hope that someone can tell me how this happened. Sorry if it is a bit long to read.

The second Crusade for Jerusalem had started. I won the Kingdom in the first Crusade but I was the victim of a Fatimid invasion and I didn't stand a chance against them alone so they took the land back. Anyways, we were losing pretty badly. They had a massive doomstack waiting for anyone who stepped into Jerusalem that nobody seemed to be able to match. It just seemed like a waiting game for them since nobody was going to be able to occupy their land. After losing most of my own army to their doomstack I decided to hire both Holy Order armies that were available since I had enough Piety and they have free upkeep for Crusades. Together they gave me a stack of 15400 (this was quite a bit smaller than their army but I figured that combined with the other nations, it might be enough if I play it smart) but I didn't have a fleet big enough to carry them both so I had to send one at a time. I managed to avoid the doomstack and got my first Holy Order army into Jerusalem and some time later I noticed the army I had left behind in my Kingdom was sieging.. and it turns out that was happening on my capital. Since they had no armies in that area, there was nothing to stop me and suddenly we were winning the war:

Somehow I got some warscore from sieging my own capital??? That doesn't seem right... So I had a closer look.

That's a Muslim building. How the hell did that get there? This has been my capital since I started the game and I've never lost it. This doesn't make any sense...

Here's a screenshot showing that this land is owned by me but at the same time I am occupying part of it.

We actually ended up winning the Crusade and I think this situation is what enabled us to regroup and make a comeback.

Anyone have an explanation?

Baron married a Muslim woman, had a kid, some other title passed onto that kid from the mother's side of the family, pulling that barony into his new demense through external inheritance?

Load up a save and check the title history/lineage of the ruler. :p

Hmmm

The first time I took control of Jerusalem I gave a duchy to an Irish character than I planned to press claims for and when I lost that land it seems like his title wasn't taken away. He's dead now and his daughter (also now dead) was married to the Muslim guy that owns the barony now but this still doesn't explain how the Muslim guy was able to take control of it, does it? I wish it would let you see the history of Baronies, it would make finding out what happened here so much easier and it's driving me crazy not knowing lol

Might be it's a Muslim holding from game start.

Nope, I just checked. It's a normal barony at the start of the game.

Celibate, lustful, Italian Catholic, married to a Muslim Baron, and wants to be Spymaster with 3 Intrigue rating. Oh, and hates her hubby with a passion...
