Abbasids simply exploded into pieces after only 25 years. And no, this is not a civil war. Caliph is actually at peace.

Not exaclty right, it's tied to culture and most of the Muslim cultures (the Arabic and Persian culture groups especially come to mind) have this.

And here's my strange screenshot of the day. I don't think it's the weirdest thing that has happened in that save, so I even doubted taking the screenshot. Anyway, here's the new count of Austisland.

Oh and yes, that is the Persian colour for the west Iceland county.

There isn't a single part of that picture that makes sense

A Nahua Abbasid Catholic in Iceland

How? How did any of those things happen? I sort of want to go back and trace his ancestry to find it

I guess it's like this. Here, several pages ago, there was a succesful jihad for Norway. It's been a while since then, but I think the Abbasid Caliph under the Seljuks won it, not the Seljuk king of Persia himself. (This was a 1066 start.) Then the Aztecs invaded and took amongst other places Norway. As a bit of an aside, around or maybe even before that time, the Seljuks imploded and the Caliph ended up indpendent in Anatolia. At probably the first opportunity, the Aztecs went Catholic and must have asked several vassals nicely to start following their new religion.
More aside: the Aztecs have lost most of Norway since, but are still going strong in France.

You would not believe how happy that makes me.

It's nice that your Aztecs were successful. Mine made the poor life decision of declaring a second invasion against my massive HRE's Kingdom of Aquitaine (a core crownland ruled by the emperor and the ancestral dual king of Leon and Aquitaine). They then diverted the rest of their troops from their original invasion of a county in Brittany only for them to be slaughtered by my vassal holy orders and 12k Iberian light cav army. Basically, they were throne back in two years. At least they left with dignity unlike the Mongols who embarrassingly lost to the Ughyur when they had numeric advantage...they're now almost dead.

Please forgive the eternal black abyss in which the screenshot in floating in. This is from an old game of mine where apparently I received a severe head wound in battle and rendered me incompetent. It was then that my title changed from "Emperor" to "Basileus". I'm not sure if the change happened because of the head wound or because of a bug, but I'm pretty sure that the title should not have changed at all.

I could see this happening.

Sigurdr, slurred: Jeg tror, jeg har det bedre.

Regent: Did you catch any of that?

Chancellor: It's all Greek to me.

Umm, you might be new here but Muslim controlled realms take the name of the dynasty ruling it unless a stronger branch already rules a realm.

Yes. I'm just trying to be funny. It's Australian humour

She made my 1st son comatose in bed, almost dismembered my 3rd son and he ended up infirm anyway, try to kill my 2nd son & my successor and 4th son and once tried to kill me too, so yeah she's great, both her stats and the almost game over disaster she inflicted to my dynasty :D

Aaa, you got a devil's spawn child there. It's a very rare event. She'll kill your entire family until she's at the top of the inheritance list

Yep, I'm aware of that when she was 2 years old and called the "spawn of Shaytan" or something, that's why I immediately send her away to Emir of Antioch when she turned 6 to prevent her from killing my son, because the problem with Muslim succession is simply NO GIRLS ALLOWED :D
But somehow she managed to do what I described in previous post even though she was practically aboard and away from Damascus. It's just rather bad luck for me, that it was a girl that had to be the chosen one, if he was a boy I would totally picked him as my successor which was ridiculously easy with open succession, unlike the punny Primo/Ultimo/Elective/Gavelkind like the non Muslim had :D

Does imprisoning her work? Presumably you could just throw her in the oubliette and wait
